Unless the Ibos starts seeing the Urhobos, Itsekiris, Efik, Ijaws and every other nation in Nigeria as partners in the restoration of Biafra, the agitation might very well be a pipe dream. These nations have only come out to say we are not a part of you. I have been following all the nations renouncing their membership of Biafra and one thing they have commonly agreed upon is the acknowledgment of the struggle as the rights of the agitators.

England : 50,301 mi² (note England is not the same as the UK in case you did not know)

SE (abia +Anambra+Ebonyi+enugu+Imo) = 9446 mi²


2. Biafra will be landlocked since the SS states are all saying they well not part of Biafra, the Efik released a statement the other day, the Rivers people also did citing their experience during Biafran occupation in 67-70 and saying never again and now the urhobos, so where is your access to the sea? anything you make, you have to go through the SS or the rest of Nigeria to export.


3. The North has not exploited it's resources but the resources of the north (not to talk of it's agric potential) far outweighs the South East. In agriculture, 85% of Niger state is arable, it means Niger state alone has 3 times the agricultural land of the whole of the south east . You might do well also to google Nigeria's mineral resources by states before you start making ignorant comments.

Historically both urhobo and itsekiri and the whole of rivers were carved with Biafra, they were part of Biafra in 1967 .they are just pulling out and saying they don't want to be a part of it again. With the oil and port gone how do you,Biafra plan to survive? Because you may have to pay double for importing and exporting and Nigeria will still benefit from it.

It was never even part of the old Eastern Nigeria but rather was in the Western Region before it was carved along with today's Edo state as the new Mid-Western Region by the Balewa government in 1963. So any crooked attempt by Nnamdi and his lost crew to coopt these groups into his Biafran pipe dream is DOA.

Urhobos have never in their history fought against the Itsekiri people. It has always been Ijaws vs Itsekiris. We have always been a melting point for both. In fact if not for urhobo machineries, the Ijaws would have deleted them from the world map.
Ibos are just bitter for nothing. Urhobos recognize your struggle and support your rights to self determination. what they do not support is the conscription of their territory without due consultations. What a right thinking group would do is to open up diplomatic channels to discuss the terms of the new nation so do not have another Nigerian situation.
