Most intelligent contributors are deleting their monikers and moving on because the intellectually capacity building NL is known for has dropped to sub-zero, while some of us only chose to stay to stop lunatics from a washing Internet with bad impression of our ethnicity and we go to other intellectual sites for high level discussion and knowledge sharing. Oga, you failed to do your research, very well. Most of the exchange of insults, use of vile epithets and ethnic slurs on Nairaland, were started by your folks. Kindly do a content analysis from 2006/7 to 2010. Even people like me who came from minority tribes were initially content to sit on the fence. But whenever we tried to make peace at the initial stages, we were dragged into the fray, called all kinds of unflattering names and visited with bile. So we returned the favour in kind. Abi, na who be mumu? At the end of the day, it depends on how you want people to perceive or respond to you. The ball is in your court. “Do you know that my biggest selling product right now is plantain chips, “ipekere”, ordinary “ipekere?” They eat it in Russia, Scotland, Taiwan, USA, South Africa, because it’s a snack, just the “ipekere” and people worry me and say oh; “when we go back, can we eat your plantain chip, because we cannot get it here;” and I said, ‘well, because the money to set up the production or operation was sourced from overseas, so that’s when I am going to pay my loan back.”

Aiyegbusi was one of the brains behind former Governor Segun Oni’s yam and tuberous crops preservation project at Ilasa-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

“All I needed was 1400 pounds to start. From my mini cabin, I have only saved 800 pounds.” His wife said: “Don’t worry, my total savings is 630 pounds, I will give you 600, you join with your 800 pounds. Let’s go and start, God will bless you.”

Within three months, Aiyegbusi had a turnover of 10,000 pounds (Ten thousand Pounds)! Then he thought he was on top of the world. The Lagos Deep Offshore Logistic Base (LADOL) is blazing the trail in the quest for local capacity development in the country as it advanced with the construction of the world-class Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel.

The indigenous oil and gas logistics firm is currently working on the sections of the FPSO at its Free Zone base in Apapa.
