The arabic language is an OPTIONAL course. Growing up in Nigeria, we always had CRK and IRK and neither I nor my friends or family members were ever forced to study IRK. So what exactly is this senseless politicisation of arabic all abput?

Besides the actual revision of the curriculum was even done since 2012; so why is it being used as politcal tool for argument today?... is thw opposition so clueless?

How many French teachers are there in Nigeria for the over 30 million Nigerian students. The answer is zero.

How many Arabic teachers are there for the over 30 million Nigerian students. The answer is that in every mosque in Nigeria, the Imam is an Arabic scholar. Meaning there is more than enough Arabic teachers most of whom would be Imams.

Since either French or Arabic is compulsory and there are no French Teachers but numerous Arabic teachers, all Christian students would be left no choice but take Arabic classes from an Imam who will teach them lots of lessons about Mohammed and the religion of peace!

Arabic has always been the unofficial lingua franca of the north before the forced marriage of the north and south. Every country in the world tries to have more than one globally acceptable language. An average European speaks English while french and other languages are taught in most American schools.

The removal of History from our school curriculum is the reason for all this.


Those old hags barking at the top of their voice knows better. They know the truth. They are old enough and they know the history of our country before amalgamation and independence. They know the north has always prefered Arabic as their second Language.


The British knows this that. They couldn't communicate with the northern elites then because they were educated in Arabic. That is why they decided to to include Arabic in our money and our military Uniform.


Those religious leaders are bunch of hypocrites trying to cause religious conflict in the country because they know they history of this country well.
Of the north has not allowed English, Christianity wouldn't have been able to penetrate to the north.


If they want to criticize constructively or if they feel threatened, they can suggest Hebrew to the federal government rather than antagonize another religion.

Arabic is a language but it is synonymous with Islam, you can't force people to learn a language that they don't like.

I went to Catholic school and no Muslim was forced to do crk,study Greek or recite holy Mary. There was even a small mosque in the school.
Can Muslims allow small church or other things in islamic school? They will see the truth but they will never follow the truth.
