I can never forget my own experience at all..

I just left secondary school that period and was preparing to get into the university. So my mum and i went to the market to buy my school stuffs. On our way back home, there was traffic and a naval recruit was trying to handle the scenario.

Unfortunately for us, we were on the wrong side of the road and the guy was screaming at us. I was hitting the gym that period, so my body was puffed up. Na so i comot for motor to go reason the guy oo... As i was coming close, next thing i knew, they guy brought out a 4-mouthed koboko and lashed it on my shoulders.

Old boy! i flinched! for a moment, i considered wrestling the guy to the ground, but then i thought of the repercussions, so i left the scene. Then the guy proceeded to our car. My mum just sat still and was watching. When the guy saw it was a woman behind the wheel, him just week.

Then he allowed us enter the lane. The koboko mark was on my skin for 2days.

by the way, men shoes for sale

you dey mind the mumu? Na for naija small girl sef go dey threaten to deal with you coz hin boyfriend na soldier..

I be yoruba man but I go talk true many of us ar just cowards (though not all) na only mouth we get and thats why the great fela kuti tried to give us voice but we refused to accept. Many of these so called soldiers you fit handle them one on one but na their ability to easily re enforce dey always ginger them. The one I experienced on friday, I could have beaten up those guys without stress but I was outnumbered 7-1 so I had to jump on a bike and leave the scene immediately. Look at that video too, more than 5 naval students on top one youth corper. If it was a one on one combat, that corper boy would have beaten them to pulp. Wetin be the difference between them and cultist? cultist go gather like 10 go ambush just 1 nigga for him house beat am and at the end dem go they carry their heads high say dem don finish am. If they know say dem stubborn why dem no carry only one or two members go.

Until we stop saying things like if soldier slap you, your face go swell or if soldier beat you, you go land for hospital, I don't think we can get it right in this country concerning these military oppression. The more you hype them, the more they feel superior.
U make sense man. They are over hyped . u don't look like a cocaine sniffer with this comment of urs though

Those guys are the scourge of Nigerians. Never mind that they never apologized for destroying the institutions of this country through their endless coups; or that they inadvertently caused this Boko Haram nonsense through their brazen use of force. Cowards, the whole lot of them.

I was just 16 when these bastards detained me for like 6 hours. i thought I was going to die that day...... an unforgivable travesty.

It was at Aba when I was a sales rep of an FMCG company. I drove to an army check and observe that a military man standing on the road was flagging me down. Coincidentally he smiled at a bike man coming after me. As I stopped , the army man ingnored me and started exchanging pleasantries with the bike man. I drove off immediately since he does not want to give me attention. Few seconds later I saw the military man and the bike man following me and flagging me down. As I stopped the military man ordered me to drive back to where he stopped me. I argued with him to an extent. He then put a call to his colleagues who arrived at the scene and started bullying me. They drove me in my van to their check point and flogged hell out of me. My van was impounded for 3 hours before their helms man ordered them to release me after giving them some packs of glass cups.
I felt humiliated.

Can still remember back then in command, a corper screamed "Who is that goat Barking"... immediately the soldier came to the window, we didn't see her again.... later saw her under the table as she said in fear "has he gone".

P.S This happen while the solider was chasing people and corper was a teacher.

lol this kind thread go swet die.. whre dm mods lalasticlala mynd44 oga seun. Mine was when i was posted to the north to go and serve a country they call my father's land. I was posted to sokoto state and along the journey we encountered an army check point. Naso my guy mistakenly throway dirty for floor. the can of malt we've been drinking. Naso one of the soldiers as ''who throw tha nonsense for floor''? nobody talk. Naso the boy vex order all of us mak we come down. After some ranting and barking. I decided to take my guy's place by telling them I was the one who did it coz this my guy was very ill but he had to be in camp the next day. That was how they started raining insults on me calling me names. before i knew it they descended on me kicking me, throwing blows and punches and hitting me with the butts of their guns. My crime was that I didn't confess on time. One hot babe that even tried pleading on my behalf chop slap she jejely waka go back of bus so embarassed. Nobody could talk everybody just dey look. After delaying us for like 2 hrs plus telling m to lie down faceup my head pointing towards the sun dem later release us. I went to camp with a dislocated wrist I tore a cloth to hold back in place and so many bruises and swolen face people thought I had an accident on my way coming.

Nigeria has one of the worst human right abuses in the world. If people can stand up to their rights I think all these things will reduce a bit. Assuming my fellow passngers backed me up and supported me that day I would have been more gingered to fight back but everybody just dy look like mumu. We were so helpless.

You are right. We're stronger in numbers, but we're cowards too. If there's how to ginger the other passengers to help, maybe this story would've been different.

Department of Civil-Military Affairs (DCMA) charged with the introducing and transmitting the core elements of effective civil-military relations in areas of human rights, rule of law, negotiations liaison and conflict management.

DCMA: is the help-desk, Justice center for all.
DCMA : If Soldiers assault you, Who do you report to? Call DCMA and you will get justice

The era of human rights abuses or molestation of our citizens by the Nigerian Army personnel is over. Gen. Buratai has zero tolerance on this and vowed to apply maximum disciplinary measure if you are found or caught in this unprofessional conduct. A recent court martial verdict in maiduguri convicting a soldier to death for setting a bht suspect ablaze is pointer in this regard. It is also a warning to All.
Rule of law and human rights reservation of citizens are some of the hallmarks of any professional armies which Nigerian Army is known for.

DCMA Department of Civil military Affairs in action

If a soldier assault you.
If a soldier violate your fundamental human rights.

Call 193 and that soldier will be punished.
