Appliedmaths, is it ideal enough to include my cover letter in the body of my mail ? or as an attachment ?.Note that when the cover letter is in the mail body the sender address and the recruiting company address might distorted in the process. or can i attach both the cover letter and the Cv along together. By now you should have noticed that majority of job adverts fails to give the Applicant a detailed address to forward his/her cover letter to, the best common practice is to construct a cover letter as the body of your email while you attach the CV. If you have the address of the hiring company and you also know who to address the letter to then you can attach both files to avoid distortions.

Only in Nigeria that companies start asking your personal details, LGA, DOB, etc..when will the Nigerian market place be on par with other developed nations

Erm,I was in a rush to quickly draft a soft copy CV and apply for a job online,due to that haste,I hurriedly submitted my CV and later realized I did not add d dates I completed various institutions I attended,it has been saddening for me since,I had a good feeling about that job I was applying for but with that mistake my morale is so low now.......is there a slim chance that I might still be called upon?just a chance...........

My hands are full... I'm trying so hard to finish what I stated. Almost 50 CV's reviewed and about 70 more to go, so I hope you understand. Be rest assured I carefully take my time to treat each case with a high level of professionalism,so it's worth the delay. I can't even respond to every mail or chat, too many, so I'm following the first come first serve rule.

Personal details should stop at sex and dob, those adding fathers compound and village location are simply on their own. Years of experience correlates with current age, age in the other part is a very key ingredient of a modern CV, you don't wanna leave that to guess work.
