It is only dogs that barks from the corner of their house but cannot bark when the jungle matures.

In case you're a soldier, you're called animals because your likes, brings jungle mentality on display in civilised society.

I have experienced the primitive and crude behavior, of an animal in uniform. I said this because, his oppressive action was baseless.

But I'm most certain now, the empty brain is already a manure in sambisa forest.

Mine was during a trip from Nsukka to Umuahia, the road was too bad at a point along the Enugu-Portharcourt Exp, we had to alight to allow the vehicle cross the bad point, a guy in uniform asked me to push the bus, me no too feel fine and I have this aversion for people compelling me to do anything, no matter what I stand to gain or lose, so I told him I couldn't and he came hard on me, I insisted that I won't. Meanwhile the bus was doing well on its own crossing the bad patch of the road, a second guy tried stopping him, and when he was eventually leaving, I said "what nonsense" na so two of them come back o, they hit me hard severally, then asked me to roll on the mud there, me ke? I refused and they kept hitting me till they had their fill. What could I do? For a moment I wished I could get a bout with them outside there uniform. My fellow passengers started saying things when we got back on the journey even though them no get mouth talk then. But it is well

Out of anger you "grabbed" one lol if I was the one you grabbed you won't have the fortitude to write this post because I would give you the beating of your life, proper life changing beating, you'd grab me lol

CocaineSniffer:
So I saw this thread today https://www.nairaland.com/3895714/naval-officers-beat-corper-ondo/1#58062653 and I decided to create a thread for this barbaric and inhumane acts by our so called ''military''. When ordinary recruits, and privates dey flex muscles, what will happen with commissioned officers . So that means I can go to command secondary school Ipaja now and their students can start flexing muscles for me ?

For the first time in my life on friday, I was humiliated by some boys who could easily pass as my siblings. I traveled all the way from lagos to kwara state for some business of mine. Around that challenge area in front of UBA bank, some so called ''tiny'' soldiers were passing by pushing pedestrians down to ''clear'' road for them. Out of anger, I grabbed one of them and corrected him that he was wrong to just shove people away like that. Before I knew it, he turned to me and flagged his colleague. He knew he was no match for me on a norms so he called for backup. Na so argument start. Before I could say jack, slaps started landing on my head from every angle. I wanted to fight back but I was restrained by onlookers telling me to just keep my cool and calm down. Not knowing they weren't done there, even more soldiers started crossing from the other end of the road to where I was and that was when I knew it was going to be a very long evening for me. As I saw that I was totally outnumbered, I immediately jumped on a moving bike without even telling the bike man where I was going (remain small make I fall the bike man down sef). I just tell am make he dey drive dey go say when I don reach where I go stop I go tell am. Lucky for me he saw all that happened so he maneuvered his way through some corners with perfection. After some 5 minutes ride and seemed I was already out of sight I outed from the bike and payed the guy as I went my way.

I was pained by just two things

1. They were just army privates who obviously joined some few months back just to escape poverty and ease their suffering. I'm very sure they haven't even used up to a year in service. They give them free accommodation, free medicals so why won't a regular thug consider joining the military ?
2. They were very young. The oldest of them wouldn't even pass for a 23 year old. My siblings are way older than those rats.

Only in Nigeria will a military man/boy cut out decorum and want to use the ATM first coz he's on a bloody camo
Only in Nigeria will a military man/boy flaunt his muscles against a civilian (even when he has non) coz he's on a bloody camo

These days civilians sef dey stand up to their rights and beat these national thugs anyhow and I've joined that clique henceforth. Make any of them just mistakenly enter my zone where my boys dey. In civilized countries, you don't even see soldiers anyhow on the streets. They are always in the barracks but what do you expect in a country where thugs, ex bandits , criminals who don't even know the meaning of education are recruited into the military because they wanted to earn some peanuts just to ease their suffering.
Nigeria has a long way to go

forget o. I have fought many of them physically. Even the commissioned officers. Nothing happened. Not asking anyone to try it o

How come you've fought so many of them? For the average person, encounters with the military should be very rare.

So are you a bully? Or a liar?

I can never forget my own experience at all..

I just left secondary school that period and was preparing to get into the university. So my mum and i went to the market to buy my school stuffs. On our way back home, there was traffic and a naval recruit was trying to handle the scenario.

Unfortunately for us, we were on the wrong side of the road and the guy was screaming at us. I was hitting the gym that period, so my body was puffed up. Na so i comot for motor to go reason the guy oo... As i was coming close, next thing i knew, they guy brought out a 4-mouthed koboko and lashed it on my shoulders.

Old boy! i flinched! for a moment, i considered wrestling the guy to the ground, but then i thought of the repercussions, so i left the scene. Then the guy proceeded to our car. My mum just sat still and was watching. When the guy saw it was a woman behind the wheel, him just week.

Then he allowed us enter the lane. The koboko mark was on my skin for 2days.

Its only the rank and files and newly commissioned officers that behaves like animals, they think they can get their way all the time, even when it comes to dealing with women, in as much as I like the organisation, I hate the men. I was almost killed in the company of my colleagues years back, the beating wasn't a funny one at all, later we were released because we too knows big men, that was after the intervention of brigade commander, garrison commander and head of intelligence captain okoh . The useless sergeant who was leading that checkpoint refused to apologise, it was a pure case of mistaken identity of kidnappers. I have stood one on one to challenged M. Akali, but I got my own pill back when he responded at the conference, but my happiness was that my voice was heard and officers and men agreed with my points.

Inside my hostel this very semester a soldier was playing interblock football competition with us, so during one match he had a misunderstanding with one guy because of the way he tackle the guy and the guy complain, so after the match he now went to the guy and hold him around the waist telling him he have the effrontery to argue with him during the game and keep saying he will show the guy who he is, na so he tell the guy to follow him and took him to one faulty soak away and ask him to kneel down but the guy refused before you say jack a hot slap landed on the guy's face and he started looking for something to beat the guy, na so students rush down to support the guy and when the soldier came back with a stick many students confronted him asking what happened and he said the guy argued with during match and that's how students begin to insult him and every seems not to be afraid of him and they instructed him to apologise to the guy and he just waved to guy but those students asked him to apologise properly, he went to the guy and apologise. Am very happy that day because Justice is served.

So in Jos one time I went to buy food in one mamaput and I was together with this guy that started working newly at my office not knowing that the guy was wearing a camor vest under his zipup. So when we got to the resturant there were three officers there and one of them just noticed that my guy was wearing a carmo so he now called him and was asking him why he wore it. Now this my guy is very skinny while I am built so the officers said they were goin to beat me on his behalf that was how one of the officer asked me to kneel down and I started recieveing slaps and boots, they drenthed me with water.
If not because some people in the resturant wanted to start recording the whole thing I would have been brutalized.
Now this was because I was built.

I went to a command secondary school and I'm kinda a stubborn person. I can't remember how many times i was embarrass by the soldiers. I did frog jumb in gutter, baptized myself, Removed my trouser and shirt, flogged to pulp in the assembly ground etc. but mostly 90% of the soldiers that harasses the civilians are newly commissioned PRIVATES aka Regulars.

D thing is just that u shouldn't get on their bad side.
I know what they pass through during training, from starvation close to 3 weeks to open combats among themselves even to the punishment been served to them
You are complaining about the recruits, just pray u don't encounter an N.D.A cadet, dats wen u know dat three months of Army training is different from 5 years in the academy
All the same am not supporting their behaviour but we also shouldn't because of over I too know challenge them.
And for d baba dat claimed to have challenged a commissioned officer I throway salute ooo,dey have not mix garri with groundnut oil for u
