You can fill it and notorise it without the date of birth I didn't so for my baby so that if my husband was not granted extra days at work because we passed EDD which what what we used in booking his return ticket but we ended up not using it ( this was done at Bank of America in Houston) I even had to go check the document before replying.
My friend also did same she infact travelled with and only inserted date of birth of her baby when she was ready to use it (hers was notorised at US consulate in Lagos)

maideyz:

Is it not possible you fill nd get it notarized without putting the date.?you can always put the date with a black pen when you sure of the date of birth. Just thinking

My POE experience - long post alert
I came in through Houston using Emirates. I travelled at 35 weeks n showed them my fit to fly in Lagos during check-in, also showed d air hostess on d plane cos they requested to see it. I travelled with my active toddler, n I guess I 'survived' the trip, lol. Used airport stroller up to a point during d connection at dubai.
One head hostess came to meet myself n another preggy during d flight from dubai to houston, n started telling us that we shld have in mind that they usually send pregnant women back, that she had had to return with some of the preg women in d recent past, bla bla bla (preparing ur mind for the worst something), lol, I told her I wasn't returning with her as I had all d necessary document.
At houston, the queue was not so long and I fortunately got sent to a guy/man that was just opening his booth so I was d first person to meet him.
Man: which country's citizen are you (after I drop passports with him)
Me: i'm Nigerian n my baby is American
Man: what are you here for
Me: to birth my second baby
Man: how did u pay for previous birth (referring to my first baby)
Me: I paid with cash
Man: so u ddnt use medicaid
Me: not at all
Man: do u have d receipts
Me: yes (n brot out all receipts)
Man: (checks through) are u staying with family
Me: no, i'm using a concierge coy that provide accommodation n other services to pregnant women
Man: where does ur hubby work
Me: told him n explained what he does, also mentioned that he will be coming to join us later, n then my baby was just saying 'daddy daddy'
Man: asked me abt d food I brot (cos I ddnt tick d veg part as I was nt so sure what to pick cos I had veg but it was dried). He asked me abt the flavor of Maggi I brot, told him I cldnt rem bt it's not chicken flavor. He sha wrote 'A' on my form n said he will send me to agric to be sure
He then goes ahead to advice me that immigration is becoming stricter n I shld make sure I don't take any medicaid or allow anyone to take on our behalf if not I won't be getting any access to the country again cos I might be banned.
I said OK. He then calls his colleague to take us to Agric.
Stayed a while in Agric cos some1 had to get our bags n he took a long time to locate it. The bags were scanned n d one with the food item was opened n checked but nothing was seized. They kept asking for indomie, lol, mayb cos of my baby, dunno, but I ddnt take indomie along. That's how I ws told to go n d guy that got our bags helped me wheel the luggage all the way out.
Just as I was getting picked up I checked my passport n discovered that it wasn't stamped. Oh no. I have to go n check that website to see that this entry record exists.
Thank God all went well. Now waiting for baby.

@Dwebb55. Am not planning to lie.Am here to gather useful information that will help me apply and be granted visa cos am new in it and I know you people know much about it than I do.

The truth is if you are new here take your time and go through the entire thread you will gather more than enough information... hospitals, doc, ped, it's worth it trust me I did it and it worked like magic
Thank me later

It usually takes 5-12 business days at the most. Focus on your recovery and dont forget not to leave without your baby's social security card which takes about the same amount of time to arrive by mail. Congratulations!
Thank you. The certificate is out

Hello everyone.. a newbie here and i started reading from part 1. To the chiefs of staff: @Justwise @nerf @ firstty @ladyG @Debb @shawbabe @desoul @Twoods..and many others thank you for your immense contribution and enlightenment.

While there are stories that seem suspicious; here is mine and i need your sincere advice. Grab your popcorn.

Me and hubby recently renewed our b1/b2 visa via dropbox in June cos they were soon to expire and we got another 2yrs. We had used the former twice..2015 and 2016 to Newyork and Houston for vac. I am preg and now seriously considering going to the usa for birthing cos i am not comfy with going for another CS. And my new docs appointment last week wasnt good news to my ears hence the consideration to travel. Hubby just got a new job on friday to start today Monday..so he cant even embark on a trip till further notice. Now my question is..i want to travel to give birth in Oct or Nov( EDD is December) ..

1.i am thinking of writing to the embassy if i can apply for change of visa status to B2 though i have a B1/B2 already. I am not up to going for a vacay and coming back and then go year end again... too many things i cant leave for now. And to go later. I will have to with my toddler and MiL.

2. My MiL will be applying for visa for the first time shoukd she apply for a B2 ?

Your honest answers will be appreciated but make una soffry sharp mouth for me oo.

Greetings House,

I am trying to book my flight for my second missionary trip to Houston. In my scout for tickets, reading through the health and travel section of the emirates airline it is saying one cant travel after the beginning of the 33rd week and I need to travel at 36 weeks. For people that have used emirates airlines (@DrPrincess) is this possible or do I have to look for another airline?

Yh they have 2 conflicting info on their site. The second says they fly singleton pregnancy up to 36th week. That's the one they really follow. So u can fly them up until u r 35w+6days(with only ur doctor's fit to fly), bt once u hit 36w (for a single baby preggy), u'l have to fill their medif n get approval from them a few days b4 u fly.
Delta does not have restrictions on flying pregnant women. I flew them last time at 36weeks.
