LagosismyHome: Mama I dey here o... if you want a true answer to Baltimore, my answer is don't come. It is too small, too dirty, too boring and too expensive, unless you getting a graduate degree in Health Sciences I know Llamas that will get an assistantship before you at JHU, UMB is not much better, The Nigerian presence in the Baltimore area can be a positive or negative, I am still undecided, most affluent Nigerians live in the 'burbs anyway the one you'll see in the city work at 7-Eleven, lest I forget the rent will chase you out of town( I used to average $1100 a month in rent and utilities). I have not minced words for you @the guy that wants to go to Baltimore and although my answers are colored by my experiences I have tried to incorporate the experience of others too. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

frankie2K: This is a funny question, it's quite easy but somehow this question does not sit pretty with me, it seems to come out of a place of deep insecurity. The answer is just mind your business, be yourself, smile and bring your drinking A-game you are in college after all, you'll make friends of every shade white, blue, yellow, green but pls represent us well don't be a 'Nigerian' supplicant begging for a white friend. 1 Like |

what happen is that i applied for b1/b2 last year NOV..i never knew the reason why i was denied but after i GOT AN ADMISSION for masters in business administration ,,i applied for F1...Which was on the 20th of June 2017....it was a lady that interviewed me.. On the last window,,,i think that was windows 9 .This was the question she asked me...1) where are you going to in the united state..i told her i got admission in for my masters program at ANU to study MBA..she further asked again how many school did i applied to i told her 3 ANU,Virginia International University .and concordia university wisconsin..but i got admision from VirginIA iNTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY AND AMERICA NATIONAL UNIVERSITY...she asked why ANU..i told her i choose ANU over the other because of the quick responds i got from my addmision officer (kelly M. Mckenzie) and again i prefared the school because it's a business school..it was formally called NATIONAL BUSINESS COLLEGE.....and she nodded her head to approve i was telling the truth...she asked me where i worked i told her i work with mtn nigeria faloma ikoyi..i explain my duty...she asked was i married ..i said yes ..how many kid..i told her one....she now asked me again...why do i want bussiness addmision ..why not other course i told her i love it because it's a profesional course and want to improve my managerial skills so i can come and take over my fathers business..she asked who is sponsoring me...i told her my father...she asked me what does he do...i told her he owns a group of company he does transport business and recently he ventured into real Estate...where he buys and develop and sell properties.....later she now asked me what course will i be doing ..at first i never understood the question because i was not awared that kind of question could be asked ...she asked again i gave her some incorrect ans ...thou i got to find out what i said what even out of point...she now told me she is sorry she couldn't give me the visa...i asked her can she give me the reasons why i was denied ..she said i wasn't ready...and i asked her can i apply again...she said yes..so i left the hall.....since then i have beeen trying to reach you...please help me out ...because kelly still offer me addmission for sept resumption...i have another I-20 for the next session...can you please tell me how and when to go about it...i'm really counting on everybody for help |

[quote author=gbaby4live post=58083055] Tips: 1. You need to carry the V.O along with your response, 'During your internship with who? Try to name the organization bro and be detailed a bit. 2.According to my little experience o, I think the V.O z not gonna have time to listen to all that(From I chat with their current student and so on) and it might affect the message you are trying to pass to him. Try as much as possible to make your response unique and simple.. Do your homework very well bro and go through other Transcripts very well.. #TrumpLand is Calling you I'm still waiting for my I-20 tho, so am not an expert, just my 1cent.. #Peace [/quote tanks for the respond I will work towards it |

Mattinno: Those two schools be as e get...e get as e be... Why not aim for better schools.... after an MBA in those two schools what can u do with it. They are barely accrediated or good or even manageable programs in the MBA world |

gunther6: Everyone has different experiences based on lots of factors. The city might not be that great generally in terms of safety and other stuffs, but there are some very good neighborhoods in the county. Anyone schooling in Baltimore should be able to live in most places in the DMV area (excluding North East DC) provided they have a car/can hop on a train or bus. That gives many more options in terms of rent, closeness to Nigerian/black population. |

TheLee:Your Sister got a wrong form. Tell her that she should get the form for bill payment. All she needs to fill apart from her own details is the account name which is 'SEVISFEE' , amount - $200 and the account no which is stated on your coupon. |
