Yorubas Get In Here - Tinubu & Akande by Markfemi2: 6:42am On Jul 06, 2017
In moments like this
I expect Yoruba leadership to have reacted promptly
Why are tinubu and akande suddenly quiet ?
Are they not aware of what's going on ?
What about sourh west Governors apart from Fayose who has been very vocal why are the rest acting like all is normal when all isn't. ?
I saw a video of some niger delta militant with new weapons
Do Yorubas have the same thing ?
What about OPC?
if tinubu can't speak now why did he enter such alliance ?

Let's drop BIAFRAN issues for a bit and focus on impending issues facing Yoruba nation ?

Why is yemi being caged ?
Why are northerners not supporting yemi the way westerners supported Buhari ?
What is our reaction ?
If they want to
1) remove him with force
Nigerias soul is in niger delta and south west
We have the industries and ports
Niger delta has been quick to realise this and are not messed with
Why are Yorubas not realising if we shut down lagos Nigeria will bleed no food no commodity

If tinubu can't respond in moments like this or amosun maybe we should pass the Barton of leadership to Fayose and more courageous leaders

Also why have we not responded to arewa letter accusing of betraying them ?

Or are they doing something we don't know ?

Leadership inspires a people
Tinubu and Bisi's silence isn't inspiring Yorubas

Face it, so happy you realised that you are yet to put your house in order before going to fight against Biafra.

You now see how they will boot osinbade tongue and next is fashola out.

Is time you fight your battle please remember not to call on Southern, we won't be there to safe your greed kiss

I am not usually into this kind of debate but i need to clear your mind that there was never a time in the history of Nigeria that the Yorubas approached or called on any region or ethnic group to support us in any issue. I say this, let it sink into your mind, Yorubas will never call on any ethnic group to support us in any fight or war. We know how we have been handling issues like this for ages and this will not be an exception.

I had a good discussion with a Yoruba woman at Jomo Kenyatta Airport. She shared the same view with you and i think it is high time we all looked into this. It seems the APC stalwarts from the SW are not ready to talk may be or may be not they are making some subterranean moves that are are yet to come to the surface. The matter is not about Osibanjo but the Yoruba as a people. There is nothing like one Nigeria, Nigeria was never and will never be one.

At this stage Yorubas can't do it alone that's the truth the only allies we have now are se/ss/mb

So start building bridge
Nothing wrong in accepting this is not the change we were promised

I doubt it. I stayed for some years in these parts of the country. A lot of things happened during and after the 2015 election. I am still a strong supporter of GEJ but i must be honest with you, they will never and i say never support us, may be things have changed in the last one year. My friends from these parts of the country have not changed their stands on getting at the Yorubas.

I quite agree with you on making deals. There is an issue of trust/betrayal between them and us. We will do a lot to convince them. I don't know how it will happen. I think Fayose and Mimiko can try it, it seems they are well accepted.

Oga chill. As it is now,Yoruba cannot do anything. The way it is north doesn't see us as a threat, they see us as an ally.we don't have to make them feel insecure by our utterances. Forget what is happening between Hausa and Igbo. Surely,One of them will need an ally, that is where Yoruba comes in. We determine their fate. We don't need any region as an ally, other regions need us an ally because they is tension between them.

You may be hearing Igbo saying," e no concern dem,say na Yoruba wahala". The real fact is that Igbo can have their Biafra under Osibanjo govt not under Hausa govt. They as a matter of fact won't want Hausa govt, that was played out in 2015. And the real reason they called us betrayal, they never liked Hausa but we accommodate them.

Copied from the facebook wall of an exceptional yoruba son.
I envy and admire the resume of Ag. President, Osinbajo, thus, i advise him to thread softly with Saraki and the Northern cabal. He should not play into the hands of the cabal and the northern oligarchy. He should face the reality and stop following emotion.
He should not allow empty barrels who will dump him immediately he's out of office to push him against those mightier than him in the game of power-politics.
Any day, anytime, the Northerners will support Saraki against Osinbajo.
The South South and South East will support Saraki. However, the Yoruba nation is disunited. Contrary to the acidic and caterkerous reactions on social media, the major security formations such as the Army, Police, DSS, etc are with Saraki and the Northern cabal. Saraki, to me, did nothing wrong yesterday. He's just not in good terms with those in charge of the Media.
Assuming but not conceding that Saraki planned what happened yesterday in the Senate, he would have carried the day if committed to voting but he overruled his colleagues. Politically, Saraki is a master. He sets targets and he has never missed his targets. For Now, he is on top and we should respect his smartness. Saraki retired his father from politics. He relegated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from National Leader of APC to Lagos Leader of APC. Saraki has pocketed APC structure in Abuja. The National Chairman, National Secretary and National Publicity Secretary of APC now report to Saraki, yet you think the man from Kwara is a fool.?
Today, all the waring rebels in the senate are with Saraki, including Tinubu's wife, Oluremi. The DG of DSS and the IG of Police now close their duties everyday in Saraki's house. One thing that is so sure to me is that if Osinbajo decide to fight Saraki, the VP will be humiliated and the Yoruba opinion shapers will trade him (Osinbajo) the way they traded Abiola. I wish Prof. Yemi Osinbajo divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding to manage the current situation in Nigeria. Cheers.

Forget Igbo issue for now
Did Igbo not oppose secession under azikwe to spite awolowo
Did Igbo not oppose regionalism under shagari to spite awolowo

Best to reach a deal
North isn't seeing Yoruba as ally as far as I'm concerned you don't treat allies that way

I beg to disagree with you sir. North always have reservations about SW. They had no option other than to work with the SW in the last election to wrestle power from GEJ. Emergence of Buhari/Yemi does not mean that the North and the SW are allies.

So you want Yoruba moslems to talk? Osinbajo is a christian. Do not expect yoruba moslems to support "an infidel" against thier abokiii slave master. They talk only when slave masters say they should talk.

I don hear you gej had the backing of Yorubas igbos middle belt and ss

Southern neighbors like Osibanjo but are not happy with Yorubas due to gej 2015 hence their support is needed remember it was an Abia man that raised the isssue of Saraki as president that's a sign someone's reaching out to igbos
