Lol, oga people still have interviews slated for various dates within this month. I know someone who will be having his on the 10th, and I know that some will still have theirs as late as the 4th quarter of this month. Unless it's the mod's personal policy to terminate a thread once it hits 400 pages (which sounds more like your conjecture than a fact, as it's already over 400 pages), I see no need to keep wrestling with "Justy"'s discretion (you called for a new thread earlier)

Can't they post their good news in part 12?

Are you saying justwise should leave it for them until they got their visa before he starts part 12 ?

Aside from part 1 and 2 or so? Justwise always closed the thread when it's 400 for a reason best known to him or something else that I and other don't know.

No, there are threads that have reached 500. Some of us hope to drop our transcript in this thread. Mr. Justwise, I say let it reach 500.
By the way Sevis payment confirmed. Thanks.

It's left to him to decide on that and for the last 7 parts justwise usually closed the thread when it reached 400 or 401 or 402 and that's why people are reminding him if I am not wrong.

Please can you help me with Sevis fee, I want to make the payment.
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 11 by cmbagwu(m): 9:06am On Jul 06, 2017
Banks don't give BTA and PTA unless you have a return ticket. Since yours is a student visa and a one way ticket.. you may have to look else where. You can meet with BTC to buy dollar from them.

OGreene:
You don't need to bribe anybody. Go to a branch and request to speak with the manager, they have to say what you will understand. You need PTA not BTA. The B stands for Business and P - Personal.

If you have accounts in other banks, it wont hurt to ask them how the process works there. Then apply where you want.

After graduating, i focussed fully on my business and started getting contracts to sew Security uniforms/ casual workers uniform for big orgnization (7up, nestle e.tc.) and i feel the need to have a Managerial skill to effectively manage my growing business , hence the reason for an MBA in the states. SEASON THREE: I was directed to the bulky Asian man at WINDOW 1. (The guy face strong no even smile atall)

VO: GOOD MORNING
ME: Good morning sir

VO: Pass me your passport. (I gave him). Why are you going to the US?
ME: I will be travelling to pursue my masters degree in Communication studies at Tarleton State University, Texas.

VO: Give me your I-20? (I gave him)

VO: Why did you choose the school?
ME: Asides from the fact that I will be recieving as a plus to my degree, a dual certificate in Organizational comm and Computer Mediated Communications, the program infuses a blend of modern and traditional methods of comm. (cuts me short).

VO: A lot of schools offers this same course in the US why are you picking this school.
(Truth is I just told him some jargons I can't remember. Then He looked at me like "e be like say this girl dey craze" and then he lost his cool).
I said why are you choosing a small school in the middle of nowhere in the US for your program? (and he looked straight into my eyes, I felt like disappearing but braced up).

ME: I want to become an Internal Communication specialist and media analyst for Multinational corporations and I have been working with Dr Jennifer Edwards from the university who is the Executive director of Texas Social Media Research Institute on a paper (he smiled and cuts me)
VO: Who will be sponsoring your trip?
ME: My aunt she owns chains of petrol and gas stations scattered all over Nigeria.

VO: Have you ever traveled out of the country before?
ME: No.

(He looked at the two papers looked at my face and just turned his face to his computer picked one paper without turning and he turned back and saw it was the white one, he gave me and told me to come get my visa blablabla, I didn't even hear the rest as I quickly grabbed the white paper and slipped out of the door before he changed his mind, you know you really can't rely on China tins ). JUST LIKE THAT, OLOWOGBOGBORO stretched forth my my white paper to me and that's how I got my visa!!! He never finish o!

SEASON FOUR: I want to specially thank everyone on this thread who has ever answered any question, God bless you. I don't feel bad about those that couldn't help me, an adage says "To catch a monkey, you need to climb the the tree" so I just take it as one life experiences. Vinci500, and Mr John thanks big time. Texrem, I throway salute for you, for the sacrifice of your holiday time and all God bless you big, and I need to go and fight MTN they were just slashing my credit anyhow. A female-friend of mine booked her flight for the same earliest travel date(July 23) on her i20, , her school resumes on August 22 (orientation)
is she safe or she should reschedule her flight.
i told her not to worry that she is covered but she insisted to hear from Nairalanders.
( she planned to resume that early; to learn some skills needed for her program organised in the school holding on the 26th of July, to sort out accommodation and other things)

its over to you sirs/ma. should she cancel her flight and fixed another date

I booked my flight for same earliest arrival date as well and I'm really worried about it after reading the post about the person been returned and now I'm feeling the CBP officer might want to ask why the early arrival....is it better I reschedule as well or I'm good to go

as long as it is within 30 days that is absolutely fine ............... If you decide to go within that 30days its your choice and not a red flag so you should be fine

Apply again but don't say you are fully sponsoring your self. Let me give you some tips. It's not wrong to sponsor your self but it's best to say your dad will be funding your education and you also save up some cash through your business to support him in covering other expenses

People should stop panicking unnecessarily about POE. The rules are clear and it's a public knowledge. NOT MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR PROGRAM

the other guy that posted his cousin's friend issue is just creating unnecessary tension. How will someone travel to US months after the resumption date and expect not to be turned back?

Just makesure you travel according to the stated rules and you will be fine. Makesure you are with your I-20 and other necessary documents too. It's not as difficult as people portray it to be as long as your name has not been on any kind of redflag in the CBP database.

Relax guys!!!

Hello Ma/sir...i posted a question and I got a reply from the admin and am sorry about that but my answer wasn't answered..and I don't feel welcome...that was my first time of messaging....My question is **am a graduate of IT,I studied in India and I back home to process a US visa to study (liberal art and science)..Which is far different from my degree course..Secondly the admission I got was of associate degree....What do you advise me to say when the question comes up...tnx

I saw your post on the other thread, but couldn't reply you there because its only the Visa Officer that replies there.
With what I'm seeing up there, you have a lot of work to do.

Why would you apply for an associate degree after getting a Bsc in India?

Why are you going for liberal art and science after graduating in IT?

Did you go thru the process yourself or you used an agent?

I don't even know what to advise because your story don't sound straight. I wish you all the best
