Hello everyone,

After submitting my application, i discovered that I uploaded reference letter for job A in the holder provided for job B and that of job B in the holder provided for job A. Please what can I do to correct this? Can this be a reason for rejection?

Please I need your candid advice.

From what I have gathered from those who ve got PR, some also observed this and claim its not a big worry. I doubt we are the ones who even make the errors self, probably the system glitches it up. Anyways to have peace of mind, you can raise a CSE.

I also observed this in mine where I have employment a, b and c..........Something that I uploaded properly, i later saw a was in c and vice versa.

Thanks for your response. Yes, the accounting experience is within the last 10 years. But do I put my self employment in personal history if I'm not claiming points for it if I get ITS?

Should the self employment experience even be in my EE profile? But it would probably look like I haven't been working.

What do you think please?

If your accountant experience is within the last 10 years and you can obtain reference letter from your former employer OR former supervisor, you can claim the NOC that is closely related to your former job function.

I can't say much about self-employed folks. I think it has been discussed on this thread. You can use the "search" tool at the top of this page to see what comes up.

Like i suggested earlier, send both cse and email appealing to them and you should attach an evidence that you have applied for Fbi pcc....I don't know what evidence will suffice. Let those who have requested it chip in.

My IELTZ results comes out 2mao. Does it come out in the afternoon or evening. So curious!!!

hi mine is showing Non applicable as well. After meds passed, it goes to in progress then non applicable. So I guess we are both waiting for IP2 then. Login and check the help button beside the background check for more info

Michelllo, thanks for your input. Lasu has responded to the verification! I checked profile this morning and noticed a status change - now "Documents received, review in progress".

For future Lasu applicants, In my opinion using my request as reference, you actually don't need to visit the school to follow up your transcript request and verification response. Transcript got to WES three weeks from request day while verification response got acknowledged within two weeks. I never got to the school nor called anyone.

I'm quiet impressed with Lasu.

I'm a Newbie here and I must commend you guys on how you look out eachother.

I'm in a state of confusion and I'd like to hear your take on this.

My first evaluation was completed in December 2016. My elder brother in Canada did not receive the hard copy for it as I made use of his address. I mailed them several times to send a copy to him but they relented until sometime in either March or April that they sent a new one to him and to IRCC.
Now the thing is in my new report my name is ONIKAN, Vanessa rather than ONIKAN, Vanessa Bella which my documents and passport bear. I sent WES a mail to correct it but no response till date. The earlier report of December 2016 bears ONIKAN, Vanessa Bella but I dont have the hard copy. They both have the same application number but different dates. I know usually IRCC will not request for the original copy because they confirm it directly from WES but I am worried to use the first report as I have no hard copy.
I recently got an ITA and I'm now confused on which report to upload.
What do you all reckon? Which report is safer for me to use considering all I have said above?

Hi Vanessa. There is no need to panic. at no stage will IRCC ask you to submit the hard copy of your assessment. please go ahead and use the first one that has your names complete as it should be. I am sure all will be well. as a matter of fact, i don't know where the hard copy of my wife's assessment is. but i have the soft copy/ that's all i need to upload.

I am a state civil servant,i typed my reference letter myself but was signed by my deputy director since i report to her directly.i also included her e-mail and phone no as well.it was on the letter head of the agency i am posted too.hope this helps.

For those in the know how best do you resolve this issue.

A dear friend (currently based in Canada) submitted application for PR via express entry and discovered there's a mistake in the application. This is the mistake

Worked in the same firm twice (Aug 2009 - may 2011) then from (Aug 2011 - May 2013) in Nigeria. When he applied for reference letter, he was given a reference letter for the first period while he put the date for his second period while filling the application.

When the mistake was discovered, he sent a cancellation request (like 6 weeks ago) but right now it seems they are working on the application because it has gotten to background check. The cancellation was request was sent before medicals was even passed.
