If you believe a yoruba man.....you are on your own. Osinbanjo is playing to Northern powers he is a yes sir because his life is in their hands. Once he bcomes the president and consolidates power on the military he will be his own man then we can believe him.

You can get angry as you like, the truth is no wise person remove his oga appointee without his approval. Only a fool does that. You compare budget signing to removing and replacing appointee? You are indeed naïve to make that comparison. By the way did you follow the intrigues that follow the budget signing? If you do you ought to remember the cabal claimed the man has been giving the go ahead to sign the budget. Osinbajo lives now in the shadow PMB, his power is limited. He is insulted, ridiculed and provoked everyday by cabal who wants him react as to find excuse to scuttle him. He will be a fool to play their game. Whatever Saraki likes, let him do, a wise Osinbajo won't remove the Magu.

As per building bridges, there is no bridge for Osinbajo to build when the power is not yet his. We are under PMB administration and policy direction, body language and words of the acting President must reflect Buhari's wishes. That is the reality. If the cabal and the rogues in the house like, they can grind the country to a standstill. If heaven falls, it is going to fall on everyone. Stupid and myopic people.

Was the power Jonathan's before he implored Mark to invoke doctrine of necessity. Was Yar'Adua not still alive when Jonathan sacked the entire cabinet starting with the AGF who undermined his authority severally. Jonathan did all this and still did a posthumous remembrance for Yar'Adua this year.

What silly wiseness is Osinbajo proving. Why put himself in the spot for crying out loud. He was the one who submitted Magu's name on both occasions. And he was the one who started this Magu or nothing narrative. Can Buhari not speak for himself? When dealing with the devil, use a long spoon.

If you can't stand the heat, don't go near the fire.

They'd ground the country, and the workhaholic image he has been building would be shattered.

The Lawal that Malami was shouting fire and brimstone for and it was as if he was speaking for Buhari, did Buhari not later drop him? Why did Osinbajo put his neck for a common replaceable appointee? Later, you'll call him wise. When they go for reconciliation, do you think the Senate would point fingers at Buhari for his stubbornness or Osinbajo for his big mouth?

This is Nigeria and a supposed VP would be behaving like a Primary School Head Boy.

Osinbajo is surrounded, there is nothing he can do but to play and count on the masses support. Politically his support base is weak and that is why you see the tinubu faction of the apc in the south west closing ranks with fayose and other yoruba politicians from pdp and other parties. And they are trying to woo kanu unto their side in order to gain more clout. Saraki controls the senate with iron hands and no senators messes with him. When the real fire works starts ,you will see how osinbajo will invite saraki for dialog

Tinubu group trying to woo kanu to their side or what did you say Say something else joor.

On the Ekiti state, it is actually Fayose that is doing everything to close rank with Tinubu and its because the 2 of them have a common enemy to deal with in 2018.

Fayose actually need Tinubu more than Tinubu need him.

On Osinbajo , impeachment is not a tea party and if we should get to that stage you will know that it is not something that the legislators alone can handle. In fact so many factors will come into play and at the end of the day the Bush meat may become the hunter.

Ask yourself why the North skipped a Yoruba officer to put a Northern Christian as the Head of State after the revenge coup of '67? For the North, half-North is better than full-South any day.

MY BROTHER this your shout of North this, North that dey make me laff you o.

Because you guys made the North indomitable again in 2015.

Now we have a North that kills Southerners and Christians and no one is arrested. A North that everybody wants to be friends with and is scared of.

Right now, the North can do and undo the political career of anybody in Nigeria today.

Look at Tinubu as a case study. The most sagacious Yoruba politician alive. He formed a party, had an arrangement with Buhari that he'd be the VP aspirant. At the end of the day, the North used this same Saraki and el-Rufai (the same midget that is the willing mouthpiece of Osinbajo today) to stand in Tinubu's way. The rest is history.

Many of the nonsense that is happening with Osinbajo would not happen if Tinubu were the Ag President. That's the power and foresight of the North. Something the SW has never and will never have.

The battle line between the executive and the senate is drawn. Since both are not ready to back down, we are in for real battle and it will affect the country. APC wanted power by all means without preparing for how to handle it. Bed of strange fellows.

Oga, whenever there is a tussle on legal interpretation, the Supreme Court has the final say. Separation of powers. Government 101.

So, the Senate would take Osinbajo to court so that the honorable Justices can put to rest the issue whether Osinbajo is correct on the issue of confirmation or if the Senate is correct. Very simple!

The last time there was a power tussle over Lawal, the Legislature whipped the Executive into shape.

This will be no different.

The nonsense they could not try with the Judiciary would not fly against the Senate.

If Osinbajo is so sure about his position, let him submit his case in court through the AGF (who by the way is not 100% on board and should ideally recuse himself). Nigeria is not a Banana Republic, at least not yet.

-Lord

Good luck to both parties.
Senate has suspended confirmation of executive nominees and they think that will hurt the executive. It will just render them irrelevant. Senate cannot be the judge and juror in its own case.

Senate is clearly against the anti corruption stance of the government and we all know. From Saraki buying over the CCT to the ones insulting fashola because of constituency project money they 90% of them are rogues.

This is how I want Osinbajo to be talking because we are already deep in this corruption shiiit for too long and these crops of demonic Senators are not helping matters, time to use EFCC now to kick corrupt asses in that horrible chamber of rogues.

The Vice President is ignorantly foolish, forget that he is a professor of law and a pastor. These is tyranny. Rather than go to court for interpretation, he is speaking like he wrote the law.

If he knows he doesn't need the senate for their appointees, then he should save Nigerians the hassle of sending names to the senate.

More so, the act establishing the EFCC is clear about it that the president appoint on who to be the substantive chairman is subject to the confirmation of the senate.

He is being deceived because he is getting confidence from somewhere but how hard their fall will be. The EFCC is a commission established by laws and the laws must be followed.

I pity him because at this rate, it's impeachment loading and all is required is 2/3 of the senate and it's easy cos many are on the cue waiting and he is giving them the very reason to go ahead. His boss is already goin on health grounds neway.

Again, I can't help but think hope there is no agreement between Osinbanjo and Magu on this matter for his insistence and doesn't want to fault the agreement.... neway, time will tell

I think this is the right time for sensible nigerians to rally round this government tp hijack ourself from those people calling senators and honourable who have lost their integrity. This gov means good for the masses but those national house of thieves are moving this goverment backward. Go through nigeria history where did you see SARAKI ascendant names written in gold? they do send many people to their early graves example of distressed Savannah Bank. see whats happening in the house of assembly no under his leadership everyhing is backward. the rougues are fighting the executive for putting Magu in charge of EFCC cause they know that he cant be bend they are now crying fowl. I think this is the right time for the masses to invade the house of assembly of the rougues and set them ablaze cause they are killing us gradually.

When it favors you people, you'd say he has full powers, when it doesn't, you'd say he doesn't have full powers.

Let Nigeria ground to a standstill. Who are you threatening? Was it not Buhari and Osi that went round the country campaigning for change. Whether APC performs or not, Saraki is coming back in 2019 as a Senator, na Osi dey find popularity not Saraki.

Instead of him to build bridges with Saraki to cement his position, he is maintaining one fake strong head. Today, he can't even swear in Ministers that have been confirmed. Very dull, weak, naive m*dg*t.

Please open the link and read why Jonathan could change Yardua cabinet. Take note of the caveat that says he was already aware that Yardua wont make it back! He also has like you early mentioned a David Mark and not a power hungry Saraki to deal with. By the way, Jonathan was not even made an acting president and was just yet a sitting dumb without power for a reasonable period of time and yet he couldn't talk or helped himself in anyway. Why are you now pushing him as one powerful hero who handled power better than Osinbajo now? GEJ was as dumb and helpless as current Osinbajo while his oga left him without power and went away on an exile. Only when all those who were involved realised the hopelessness of Yardua coming back did they act. It is that hopelessness that emboldened GEJ to sack Yardua cabinet member who trampled on him while his powerlessness prevailed.
PMB was once claimed to have died yet he returned. His state of health is kept in secrecy and yet you want Osinbajo to act so that PMB is returned to country and crises starts. It is better he remains docile like Jonathan did while cabal run out of option and coast clears for him to exercise power. Do corruption know north and south, christian or Muslim?
The answer is NO.

Corrupt people both from north and south came together to get Saraki out of CCT.
Were your PDP senators from south-east not with Saraki every time he was in court?
Were most of his lawyers not southerners and Christians.

So how did the north free him?

An average northerner person wanted Saraki to rot in jail because they see him as the biggest opposition figure to Buhari.
