I confirmed here at a branch in Ibadan...
@scoreall Also stated he confirmed from the UBA HQ in Marina 2 weeks ago that return ticket z not needed.
Like he said, Maybe u didn't explain yourself well to the staff.

gaviria:

What branch? Because I just left a UBA branch close to me and they said they only give PTA to students/anyone with a return ticket.

Lol. Explain myself well? I think I did that very well. Maybe the staff that attended to me has little knowledge of how it works. I'll probably go to Marina then. Thanks

I would like to visit Dubai from Ghana using Ethiopia Airline (ECONOMY PROMO). Has anyone had experience with Ethiopian airlines before?

Do their airplanes have one seat one screen for entertainment for ECONOMY PROMO?

How are their services generally?

There is nothing as too quick in this case, stop making people feel unnecessary tension. She doesn't need to call anybody, POE is not war front.

Not all banks. UBA and access bank gives PTA to students with a one way ticket.

I was in AccessBank today to make inquiries on the PTA thing. I was told they used to give PTA to students with one way flight, but not anymore.. . sad

Actually, when you refuse to think and assess possible positive reasons for which my original post was intended for, you did not only stoop, but also go below my level, even if you are 30 something. Anwering question is not a war, as you call it... if you call yourself a student. There is nothing to be afraid of that hadn't been felt prior interview that led to successful visa outcome at the embassy. If they could go to the embassy and conquer, they would be able to answer perfectly well at the port of entry, that is, should they be questioned!

You are the worrisome, fearful one who only see what is wrong where someone is showing what is right. Do not comment on my post again. It is totally unnecessary. Check my profile very well. Don't dare quote it!
femi312:
I dont have much to say to you, I wont be tempted to come down to your level 1) By saying 'young' its obvious you think everybody here is a kid or a 25 year old boy.
2) D esist from making posts that will cause tension or make applicants to be scared unneccesarily. Again, POE IS NOT A WARFRONT!

3) Dont feel important, if you and I dont comment, there are 1001 people that will comment and help future applicants, so get over yourself.

I don't understand why he is just posting irrelevant things sef. He is just activating panic button for people unnecessarily. I got to the POE one week after the date on my I-20 and I was so confident nothing was gonna happen cos I already informed my International Student Advisor about the delay..... Even the CBP officer never asked me anything, I just strolled in like say na me get the POE.

I don't understand why someone who is obeying the rule should now panic!!!!! Mr @fairheart enough of this ur rant jare. Next!!!

Did you actually read the original post? I was sharing certain people experience, and nobody knows who might experience the same thing again. Haba! Very simple thing; i saw telling them exactly what you did: inform your school official of your travelling schedule, as you never know the kind of immigration officer you will meet. Is that so negative?

The school is okay. Tuition is relatively low and it seems a lot of international students typically get some kind of funding to pay instate tuition.
