to whom it may concern: long post alert!!! i left my parents home at age 6 to live with 2 of my aunties(they were single and living together at the time).i had just finished kindergarten so u know how young i was. one of them later got transferred and i remained with the other one who was just about to get married at the time. so, i was there when she married and had three children (boys). i finished pri. sch and entered sec. sch even up to s.s1 before leaving my aunty's house. her children were closer to me than even their mother cos my aunty was always sick so i carried them more than their mother. i finally left my aunty's house when i was in s.s1 because my aunty's illness had gotten worse and she needed to be flown abroad. her children also came to live in my parents house because their father ran away with another woman(he probably thought my aunty would die).all through their stay in our house(they lived with us for almost 5years), they were closest to me than any other member of my family so much that my elder sister envied me the fact that i was the only one who could "talk" to them. when i read about someone raining curses and ignorantly calling people 'slavers', i wonder, because i never felt like a slave living with my aunt. yes, she disciplined me sometimes when i erred, but if i had been living with my parents, would they not have disciplined me as well? 9 Likes |

Hian, I tried to read back some pages and I had to stop cos one mama is busy asking for God's punishment on fellow mama's with live in helps whom she considers wickedness. What's your business with who we all decide to use as help? Are you directly giving us funds? Madam developed country come and carry all the less privileged kids from their various villages and give them the life you desire. I have one, and geuss what? Her parents brought her to me to train cos they can't send her to a reasonable school and she farms most of the time. Apart from the few that maltreat these kids, majority give them a home and a better future. Get that into your skull madam righteous and developed country End of rant. Come after me and I will dish it out to you as e dey hot mtchwwwwwwwwwwwwwww 2 Likes |

Right from the first post by fortuneteller, I sensed unhappiness. Her tone was so strident that the message within was lost. Madam if your cause is to help, you will do well to tone down your anger cos you will catch more flies that way I.e with honey more than vinegar. it is well. 1 Like |

I said let me quickly mark register. Thanks mothers for your good wishes. My baby is doing very well now and is even sleeping well with few issues. @ Zaynie, i accept all you have said, it is very true. It is why i have been beating myself up. The past 2 weeks was kinda hectic for me is why i asked the maid to be bathing him and didn't notice the nappy rash. But what would make someone to go to the medicine cabinet to be taking cough syrup for the baby without anyone prescribing it? It still feels surreal. But i have learned a very valuable lesson. I actually used an agency which is why i was able to change them until i got what i thought was a good one. Everything was just showmanship. The agency has refused to take ownership of the issue as they said nothing in their vetting process would have uncovered a pretender. Even verifying places she claimed to have worked before? I don't know. Even with this, i am undeterred in building my business. I know that discussion is coming again with my husband on being a SAHM but I know how hard i have worked on building my client base. I will just be more circumspect in how i let the work immerse me. 2 Likes |
