sandraa:@Sandraa you can't pay with GT naira card because the monthly allowance is $100/ month and you are paying $119 for 6 months visa. Dollar card will work because the limit is way above what you are paying as long as you have the required amount of dollars on the card. |

yispa:This was the email they sent me last week Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application remains under consideration. We have previously communicated our customer service target for non-settlement applications as 15 working days. fpeter: It is not advisable. Have u considered what if the visa is not out by your proposed departure date? |

Hello guys, I will be collecting my savings from a cooperative before I apply for visa. How do I explain that the money that was sent is mine and not a means of deceit trying to convince the embassy there's enough money in my account? |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Brightingsus: 7:01pm On Jul 07, 2017 |
fpeter: No, do not do that. Paying for a return ticket is no proof you have genuine intentions to return back to Nigeria and that would not count in your favour at all. Your travel history and socio economic ties to Nigeria are what you should consider. Take a scenario where an applicant intends to seek employment in the Uk on a visit visa, letting go 3X a ticket price is not a loss as they would gain in the long run. So judge carefully. |

I want to thank everyone that helped in a way or another in my family's UK visa application, you're all far too kind. I submitted the application for my child, my wife and me on the 6th June 2017 through the new application site and we went for the appointment on 14th June 2017 at Ikeja. My child and my wife have been given six month visas which I collected yesterday though mine was not ready then. I just received a mail from TLS contact this evening that my passport is ready for collection which I would collect on Monday. We all received all these mails others on this thread received. In fact, our applications was processed in Sheffield, UK. I just wonder why they separated my application from my child's and wife's applications. 1 Like |

House, I've started my application on the new site. I want to ask if the new site is paga payment friendly before I fund my paga account. I was at GTBANK today just to get a dollar card. The requirement are just too much. Someone should please suggest a friendly way to make payment especially on the new site for UK visa application. Regards |

adeptonlin: I believe you will be directed to the same payment site whether you apply on the old or new application site. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Brightingsus: 10:51pm On Jul 07, 2017 |
giftwalter: For visa applications, it is always advisable to get funds built in your account over the 6 months period of bank statement required as it would be easier for the Entry Clearance Officer to reconcile your salary with your bank account. Even if some of your funds are sent to your corporatise account, do you not have payslips that stipulate how much you are paid monthly? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by giftwalter: 11:24pm On Jul 07, 2017 |
Brightingsus: My company don't give us pay slips. But the amount I recieve monthly is indicated on my account, offer letter, and the introduction letter that will be given to when by the company. Let's say I start building my account as from this month ending, by September I will receive the money from the cooperative. How do I explain this money? |
