I never mentioned Africa in my post rather I was emphasising on the holistic misinterpretation of traditional medical science globally. Going back to the post, if the scientific western medicine is no longer potent in the treatment of gonorrhoea, traditional methods should be adopted by WHO. Sexually transmitted diseases are treated by means of local herbs which has produced desired results. If am wrong ask Google.

I've nothing wrong with trado-medical cures. However, the fact that it's to be consumed by humans. There needs to be scientific approaches to discovery, research and development of therapies. The WHO cannot just accept substances that have not been tested for efficacy, possible side effects, wide range studies etc. Drug discovery is not importing toys from China or cultivating palm trees in Imo. It's not a 'cut and sew' activity.


You said it works effectively, can you please provide a scientific study confirming it? Remember, the onus to prove lies with the advocate not inquirer.
