It's better u open an insurance package for your child. I use 1st bank for my Children. Just browse or u walk to the nearest 1st bank branch to ask further questions about their insurance packages for children.

Talking about insurance package, i need more information about it. That's if DH will agree anyways. Like how much will be be putting in a year? And is it education or life insurance? What type of insurance is it? I don't get it. I know for my car is yearly but bank?

No one is denying that some children used as "helps" suffer greatly in the arms of the people they are staying with, nor is anyone justifying the maltreatment of anyone under someone else's care, especually a minor. It is the attitude in summarising that everyone with another persons child in thier care is a brutal, child abusing slave trader.

Please how is being insultive, from faraway Obodo-oyinbo going to solve anything. Does she think aggressiveness and tactlessness will solve the issue.

It is on social media she has power, If she talks like that to some people in person, she will wake up 2 weeks later in hospital, then ALL Nigerians will be female beating brutes and that is why the country is not progressing.

My 3 year old is tongue tied and will be going for minor surgery when he turns 4. His was quite obvious and I could tell from when he was born. He had difficulty latching on to the b****t and could not stick out his tongue much. We took him to the doctor but he said we should wait till he is older and see if it will cause any problems but now its affecting his pronunciations so it just has to be treated.
For a 2 month old it's best to go see your doctor and decide on the way forward. A lot of times just a minor cut at the base of the tongue will do but I think it also depends on the severity of the tie.

its nothing very serious just take him to the hospital they know what to do. My son had it so the nurse that circumcised him during his circumcision noticed it and cut it. Though he bleed just a little sha but she advised me to give him paracetamol, abidec and zannat because of the pain and a little jaundice though the zannat is for any infection that may likely occur during the healing process. Then breast milk heals it faster

the insurance package is better compared to the savings account. The amount to be deposited is fixed in the sense that u can't deposit below the stipulated or initial capital (I.e the amount used In opening the account). At the end of every year, there's a specific percentage that will be added to the amount in the account( tho I can't remember the actual percent). It's better u walk into any of the offices and get first hand information.

I have forgotten the percentage but while I sold insurance policy one time in my career life, Parents bought more of the Education insurance due to the added value it comes with. For Example, You can buy a policy of say 1million spread over 2yrs and let's say you are a salary earner, you can do a standing order that deducts a certain amount of money from your account monthly for 2yrs. God forbid anything bad should happen before the 2yrs elapses, and you didn't get to save the 1million and you saved like 300,000, that 1million you filled on the form that you were going to buy, will be given to your kid. I don't think Banks run such policy.

Dont know about 2 months.... did ours at 2 weeks. So baby's reaction may be very different.

I guess your doctors will give you some guidance.

I will however try and find a leaflet i got on exercises to do with babies after the sniping of the ties to strenghten the tongue muscles... please give me a mention in case i forget and do not post it by monday.

My hope for a restful and relaxing weekend has just gone up in smoke! Lol!

My Lo has cough, but he only coughs in the morning, for like 10 minutes. I checked online and I understand it is accumulated mocous down the throat forcing it's way up. I read I need to get "humidifier" I can't afford this right now, pls mamas what else can I do?

In other news today is vigil for me n lo he decided not to sleep just looking like lucozade.

Wks my lo had dis strong cough n catarrh gave him antibiotics, vit c d cough got stronger one night n he vomited sometins dat looks like mucus and was breathing very fast ftm like me was very scared mil and family doc was not around the following morning I rushed him to general hospital gbagada. Na so one amateur doc asked me to run a test and xray on my lo ignorant mom like me rushed to do d test n xray came back to d hospital n d mumu second doctor cudnt read d xray without knowing xray results he refer us to luth that dey will give lo oxygen imagine just like dat. Lucky for me my family doc return my calls and was very mad at me for doing xray dat my baby is too tender for it immediately I went home n my doc was already waiting he read d xray n say lo is perfect dat it was bronchiatis whatever immediately asked me to boil water he gave my baby warm bath, massage with hot water and steam bath asked me to back him immediately n he fall asleep asked me to do it for 3days n lo n behold his breathing went back to normal and asked me to continue with vit c my baby is very fine now except for D cough which is just lil.

The cough will go on its own. It won't just disappear. If it lingers for too long(i hope not) let your doctor know.

Thank you , wil be going to the hospital today. I suspected it earlier but was told off by hubby and mum. Wont listen to them next time, Like they say "the mother's instinct is always right"

Hmm mamas,im in d same thing o.
My toddler must wake up either by 1am or 3am to either eat or play(aloud).

Then my 3week +5day old baby will suck from 11pm till abt 1am. When i think hes aslep,remove d b.r.e.a.s.t,put him down,he wakes up and his eyes are like "mom wat are u doing? Im still awake oh,just relaxing ni"! I feel like crying o!

Motherhood is not easy! But it rocks!

no be small matter of slept around 2.30 woke up 3.30 and slept 5.00 and still sleeping but I woke up 7.00 so pratically I slept for 2hrs lol things we do for our lo
