Fellow job hunters, after interview, what's the maximum number of days you know if the job is yours or not?
To avoid being on a long goose chase for a ship that has already sailed

There is no limit, it all depends on the urgency of the job. If you are qualified, they will definitely get back to you. Just go on with your normal day activities

IMO, there shld be a time limit, if after abt 2weeks there's no feedback/call, its 90% that d job is likely gone to another hand. Besides, some adverts specifically state that if u didn't get an invite after 2weeks of applicantion deadline(which i bliv is also applicable to interview), it's likely that your application has not been considered. Summary: 2weeks after interview, no call, just move on.

In that's case, recruitment firms need to do better in this aspect. Some people actually travel for these interviews and you don't have the courtesy to give any form of Feedback?
I mean it's understandable if feedback is not given during the application process, but interview is a step further.

i totally agree with you, recruiters need to step up d game, it's not fair at all. Though some companies actually give negative feedback, usually few days after an interview, some also give few days after online registration, in this case, they tell you that you don't hv d required experience and that your CV wld be kept in case d ones that match your profile surface. Those who wl never get back to you whether positive or negative are worse, hence d assumption that d job has gone to another person if after abt 2weeks, no feedback whatsoever.

I've done interviews in some organisations and never got any feedback from them. It's really painful at times especially if it's a better paying job, some HRs are really terrible. What I do is after any interview, no matter how smooth it goes and how confident I am, I just take my mind off it and continue applying for other opportunities. It is well.

It is truly well. There are some that go as far as saying they'll get back to you no matter what. Still yet. Maybe recruiters or those who work with hr on nl can tell us how long it takes them to come to a final decision after interview
