Whenever I am right, my size is small. Whenever I am wrong, even my family's feeding money is trapped along. I have now separated my money thus: 1. PURE JIJO - I can chase anything with this money even into a dry bones territory, provided I see suspicious activities.... 2. Short term. I am against long term. I can only be accused of long term when I renew the contract of a short term position.... 10 Likes 1 Share |

Chibuking81: Conoil closure is between Monday 10 July and Friday 14 July 2017. When actually is their mark down between 10 and 14? Does it mean that whom ever that will buy by Monday will not be entitle for their dividend since Monday follow among the date for closing of their register? pluto09:thanks for the answer. But I notice that most at time, mark down takes effect during the market section For instance, the stocks that has their mark down usually starts their day market section with their previous day market close or opening of the market price, one or two hours before their mark down, which includes the removal of the exact dividend declared, after which the market will follow a new direction, either it moves further down or it moves up. Like stocks that declared #3 as dividend, closes the previous day @20 and on their mark down day start with previous day close which is #20, and after two hours into the market section mark down to #17. Does it mean that those who bought at #19 or #20 within an hour or two, on that very day of mark down, before the actual mark down to #17 take place, are not qualified for the dividend? Or are they qualified for the dividend? Please anybody that has knowledge on how the mark down processes work can assist me with answer to my above questions. Thanks in anticipation. |

fantasy7800: If you ask me i would recommend current FGN Savings Bond. Think it currently pays interest on quarterly basis and it is steady, dependable and constant at a fixed predetermined rate without surprises. Once you invest you can only seat back to enjoy your quarterly fixed interest without you needing to monitor or evaluate performance. Just my take going by your need and circumstance. |

stokfrick: 5/95....as stop loss does not force anyone to bail you out... You may have a stop loss, but the real danger is that others (e.g Fxuser/BullBearMkt) are smarter and have developed STOP ENTRY.... The game is getting more sophisticated/complicated and fewer are those who used to bail us out from sloppy entries.... If caution is not respected, your STOP LOSS may become your STOP LUCK and you may stop trading.... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Chibuking81: Like my brother Pluto09 said ,the last date you were expected to buy conoil (in this case ) to qualify for the #3.10k dividend was yesterday Friday, 7th July 2017. The mark down price / on Monday will be #33.21k (That's #36.31- #3.10 (fridays price - dividend declared ) since there is no more technical suspension on mark down dates ,prices are allowed to move in both north and south direction. irrespective of the price you buy on Monday (#38, even #50) you aren't qualified for a dime 2 Likes |

Intendy:OK thanks, I wanted to look their way for short term, but since I will not be entitle for a dime if I buy on Monday as you said, couple with decline in price of Brent crude oil on Friday, from 48.11 dollar to 46.71 dollar, for now am just watching the oil sector from distance . |
