JESUnifemi4eva: This is very correct. You can also buy from the secondary market through your Bank. 1 Like |

Hello Guys, I just want to find out a couple of things. When filling the PH section for ITA, what is appropriate for the questions below for NYSC and periods of unemployment? "Please describe what this person was doing during this period (e.g. job title, position, etc.)" and "Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate." |

Thank you. This was the exact same thing he told me. In that case, does it mean I wont have the TB certificate since my fund will just be part of the N50m? JESUnifemi4eva: |

thwy31: What payment? Please I would advise you make the payment yourself or be close to the person making the payment. Don't contact anybody abroad to make payment for you. So many wire fraud these days. Don't complicate your issue. 3 Likes |

seunlara: You can decide to take the spouse sponsorship route or the EE route to PR. I read on CIC website that candidates with Canadian Citizen or PR spouse who choose to use EE will have their application assessed the same way as a single applicant. Their points will be based on the single applicant case, that is Age will be 110 max, Education 150 max etc. My 2 Kobo, look at whichever suits u better and faster so u can join ur spouse. |

MrOba: If Treasury Bills is bought through the primary market (CBN Auction), CBN will issue a letter of allotment and the Bank will also do a letter to. But if it's purchased via secondary market through the Bank or the Bank pools several people's funds together to buy, there won't be an allotment letter in your favour, you will only have the Bank's letter. Either of the two is acceptable to/verified by IRCC. |

Cautious optimism is suggested for anyone that is relying on 25% of pensions fund as the primary POF. What works for someone else may not work for you. See IRCC's response on this issue recently. Take note of "readily available" and "cashed out".... It may be better not to use it as the primary POF but as a support. Of course, we all have different risk appetites.... 3 Likes 1 Share

Still on this Pof matter, since one cannot buy tbills from the primary market if the funds is less than 50m, if one buys in the secondary market, what document will they give as proof of purchase, also will CIC accept whatever proof(document) they give as evidence of purchase? Also, if I am submitting tbills alone as pof, will I need to get the reference letter as CIC as requested? If i must provide reference letter, which bank do I request it from, the one where I purchased the tbills or the one that has the source of funds(salary)? Note I am choosing, another bank becos of higher interest rate 1 Like |

chuks1000: Various successful applications. If your POF is complete and your submit Pension, it won't be calculated. If your POF is not complete and you submit pension, 25% will be accepted. A response from Accra Visa Office to an applicant requesting for further POF. 2 Likes 2 Shares

chuglothen: None, go and do masters. Btw, ur first degree doesn't need to match with ur experience. You can start the process now if u r ready, this thing works with age, the older u get, the less ur points 3 Likes |

Boss13:@ bolded, it depends on the type of account you run with the bank, if its a savings account most if not all banks won't give you a reference letter, best they'll do is a signature confirmation letter which doesn't serve the same purpose 2 Likes |
