CanadianNurse: Not bad for the price, Lagos to Ethiopia then Ethiopia to Ireland then Ireland to Toronto, then for me Toronto to Saskatchewan. It was long but affordable. Since they are not a local carrier in Canada but they are cheap its best to use them to Toronto then pay for a local flight if you were going to Alberta or Vancouver for example. In all I can recommend them 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Hello all, I work in Canada. I would like to send money to my family back home. What method do you guys use to send money to loved ones back home? At least some method with better exchange rate. Btw, I live in British Columbia. Thank you. 2 Likes |

amokemi: It is up to you. But if you can, try land before it gets deep in the winter to allow your children adjust gradually. However, if you are well dressed for the weather, you will cope. https://www.livingin-canada.com/climate-winnipeg.html |

Hi Guys, i found some very helpful Youtube videos (hope i'm not breaking a rule) by one Dr Lionel Laroche which is very informative on how we can settle in well once we arrive in Canada as new immigrants. The information is largely similar across the various videos but each one definitely has some learnings for us. I'm sure we can ask questions after watching the videos to our brothers and sisters already in Canada. Cheers!! Yooku:Nice videos.. But there is no absolute/definite guideline for settlement for immigrants, when you get there, with time you'll adjust properly. Videos like this just assist you in understanding the whole process 4 Likes 2 Shares |
