Availability is more important than affordability. Some cars can shame your money.
Your argument seems to be out of context to me. The Op mentioned a newbie, 50k per month . That should guide you appropriately

Mercedes Benz is more expensive than Toyota anywhere in the world and if you can't afford Toyota, then you have no business pricing Mercedes. Honda and Toyota are on the same price arrange cos of their durability

jaychubi:

Toyota brands in naija are always over priced toks or naija used BC they are strong, rugged n durable with serious demands. 70% of cars on our road are Toyotas.

Try other brands like Nissan, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Honda if u want sth cheaper than killing urself with trekking angry angry angry

Opel Astra should equally be on the list. It's fuel efficient and its spare parts are easily accessible at cheaper prices. I've been using mine for the past five years and I don't regret using it. I think it's less than a million.

Consider other options like Nissan micra, Nissan Sunny, Nissan Primera, Mazda 323, Mazda 626, Mazda Protégé all 2000model or below. These are good cars you can get Toks below N1m too.
Chai, Mazda 626 Coupe showed me shege those days. shocked shocked

Worked great before shipping it. In 9ja, was a nightmare. Whereas Mitsubishi Lancer Turbo engine worked like a dream. Very long ago sha.

Never again with Mazda.

that's y I said there are commercial transportations, will make use of it till dollar fall.
To be sincere with you, you won't be chosen as a change agent even by God. You think down on yourself and God and man hates such thought of stagnation. You will wait till dollar fall before you add value to your lifespan. Bro, this life is once and who knows you may just gather those money for those that know the value. Think prosperity. People are thinking of changing cars even in this hard economy as u assume and you're waiting to buy the scrab we will drive remain for you to buy. it's your choice sha. goodluck
