U may be having an epistaxis.. dat is, damage to a nasal blood vessel probably due to excessive stress on de vessels secondary to over-blowing of ur nose as well as dryness of de weather wich tends to increase de pressure on de vessels... u can apply some ice-cubes to de nostril wich may help a little whilst taking ur medications... However, for de purpose of Differential diagnoses, I ll urge u to see a medical practitioner. NB: if u re on NSAID drugs eg brufen n salicylates lyk aspirin, u re likely also to experience such sign too.... GUD LUCK

But this morning own is serious when I started experiencing the same.

Pls is this normal Sirs and Mas? Or I need urgent medical attention?

Absolutely nothing to be scared off. I have had it before. It is usually d symptom of pneumonia. It can be treated. Also the u may be asked to do HIV test to ascertain if the pneumonia is an oppurtunistic infection. So relax ur mind.

It could also be as a result of how you sneeze...have you been sneezing within by not letting in out? That could rupture blood vessels around your nose.

How do you blow your nose?...is it with high pressure?

If you have High blood pressure...that could cause it too.

Have you been picking your nose necessarily? skin from the vessel region might have gotten infected too.

Try to reduce these so as to stop the bleeding action or some blood clot might remain to give you headache at different altitude (pressure variation).

Blow the two nostril one time strongly,if the blood come out do it for the second time,if the blood come out then,asume there is no problem but if you repeat the blowing for the third, fourth and fifth time,the blood is still coming out then, you have to seek for medical attention.Note,repeat the blowing of the 2 nostrils for the 3rd,4th and 5th time,if the blood is not coming out then there is no problem.what you need is prescription of good drugs for treatment of cough and catarrh because it caused by virus not bacteria pathologically due to the inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose and throat which in severe cases,can lead to coughing out of blood because of sore in the two region aformentioned.

Pls dont worry too much as there is still need seeing a doctor.Changes in weather can cause it.It happened to me around dec/january two years ago.Guys i was so scared.i tried seeing a doctor but didnt work out.but it has totally stopped without medications.pls never ever try to blow ur nose as it can aggravates it.but how old are u?Do u have BP?In rare occasion,this can also cause it

Sounds like Sinusitis ..... not a major . Antibiotics can fix that . See a Doctor .

It is called hemoptysis and often results from tb, pnemonia or acute bronchitis. Do an xray and you will get clearer picture. Better still go see a doctor for immediate treatment. And tell us how it went. God be with you.

Don't listen to anyone telling you it's not serious. Normal is normal. But mucus mixed with blood, go see dokinta. Even if it is not lifethreatning, you need to get the right medication. Don't look at the cost in time/money, just go.

Firstly I would advice you to go for a proper test to identify the cause of this symptoms and call this number 08100628319 for the necessary supplementary product to treat this ailment.

i am no doctor but blood coming out of ones nose is completely normal.
it did happen to my dad a few years back, whenever he sleeps or bends down blood just keep coming out of his nose. at first he was a bit nervous and complaining but after a visit to a family doctor he was informed he had EXCESS BLOOD in his body. the solution was quite simple, he was told to bend down and allow the blood drop till it stopped. this he did and within some few days it stopped completely. probably the blood gauged itself.
i'll strongly advise u do the same.

NB.
although his was due to excessive blood which may not be the same with yours so better visit a good doctor.

I remembered the first time i experienced it during NYSC 2013 i was so scared, when i googled it, i saw it was dust i inhaled. Second time it was a swollen vessel. Its normal unless u on drugs and something harsh

But since you are a guy, it's safe to say

You have probably damaged your nasal septum with adulterated Shisha, snuff and other pungent solvents you inhale.

I am just trying to be modest, go for a biopsy, take the bloody sputum to a lab and also get an x-ray done on your lungs to see if there's any lesion, growing mass or nodules on it

it could be cancer of the lungs embarassed
