WES sends email and regular snail mail to Unilag. Unilag responds to the email although, sometime, they'll claim that they haven't seen it. If you have a contact there or if you can afford to go to Exams and Records yourself, go there and follow up. They can send the response within a week if you follow up closely. WES is ok with an email response. And one last thing, if you can personally follow up, you don't need to pay anyone. They'll check in your presence to confirm whether or not they've received it and tell you when they'll respond. philip3: |

Cheriesparkle: Your MBA will be evaluated as Master's equivalent in Canada and you get the required points for that. I don't think it's necessary to evaluate your bachelors if all you want is get into the EE pool. WES is fantastic for foreign degrees. I have no regrets. |

Do you think my spouse will also go through the whole process - Writing IELTS, POF, WES e.t.c if we intend to go together? If yes, what is the difference if we register individually? zandora: 1 Like |

yimiton: just relax. unilag will always respond once they receive the mail. you can call this number 07019914920, that is the number of the office that treats the email. but you do not need to bother yourself visiting or even calling give or take, within two weeks they would respond to WES. |

I presume you're single and without a sibling (sister or brother) in Canada. If that is the case, your CRS is 413 if however, you have a sibling, it will be 418. Considering that the last lowest ranked candidate invited to apply was 499, 413 looks small. However, before the introduction of sibling and French scores, 413 was the lowest that was invited. We believe the required CRS will keep reducing, so it's possible that 413 might quality for an ITA in a months or even weeks' time. Alternatively, you can accept to apply to Ontario when they send you their interest letter, but you'll be required to pay a fee of $1,500CAN. My advise is that you should go into the pool immediately, make your proof of funds (POF) ready and start gathering required document. I think you'll need $12,000CAN for your PoF. I am confident that you'll get invited soon enough. You can use this link to confirm your CRS. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Blitzenkreig66: 3 Likes |

Cheriesparkle: WES is fast and good for UK degrees - I can testify. MBA evaluation is what you really need for your EE application BUT there is no harm evaluating your B.Sc. too (who knows when/if you will need that to job search in CAN). Both evaluations should be hassle free since they are from the UK - and these UK schools respond very quickly. All the best! 1 Like |

Onlineise: Bro God bless you for this. I agree with your thoughts and would like to further share my experience. AOR june 16 MP July?? IP1/2. ?? forgive my uncertainty its part of my story. So i once read someones post about checking cic twice daily especially after AOR but i felt that will b aseju and giving myself free blood Pressure. Plus i had registered on immitracker and was monitoring peoples progress there. My last login to CIC was jul 8. After Onlineise post and yookus ADR post i just looged in. Behold I saw we have all been assigned UCI and meds passed BG/IP showing in progress already. Unfortunately i cant state what date we passed meds or what IP we are on. All because i assumed CIC will notify me by email and that we had time. Now i know better. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Are you using a Naira denominated debit card? If yes, you need to get a dollar denominated card to successfully pay. If you have a GT bank account, you can get one immediately. You'll however, be required to fund the account with dollars. Just walk into a GTbank and ask about their Pre-paid dollar card. Information on it should also be available online. superdoll: |

superdoll: If you have Access Bank Naira Mastercard Debit, you can try it. I paid IQAS fee two days back using same naira debit card and was successful. I was charged NGN59,233.44 for CAD 215. This mean the rate used was 275.50 However, you can only do equivelent to 200USD monthly on Access bank while GTBank have 1000 USD monthly. |
