and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration
and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your
application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• - length of stay
- the fact that your daughter will be missing one to two months of school.

Did you explain in your cover letter that you would return to the country to complete your nysc which is compulsory national service in your home country?

That reason on that correspondence letter is not the mean reason for denial. Who is the main sponsor for your application? Is it your father in-law? And again you didn't state the amount on each soa you presented here to know if you have sufficient fund.....my tot though. Again did your father Inlaw wrote a letter of support? Let's see what comes out from this questions but GCMS will tell the main cause. So sorry sister mi. God dey.

@Markab @adedoyen didnt show any work experience except for the fact that she was serving. And no home tie just discovered.

I didn't know I was meant to have a sponsor for sowp. And the closing balance of the statement of account. I had around 150k (it's an nysc account- it's just to show I'm serving) and his own was around 500CAD.(we thought fund wasn't one of the criteria for sowp
FIL only wrote a letter of support.
Yeah I would apply for the GCMS before the end of the week.

I actually did..I included work experience. I finished school is may 2015 and I worked with a company from Dec to April 2016. Though it was a volunteer job with little pay, I also included my internship during my 300 and 400 internships. I also stated that I did a professional course during nysc. All these are related to my course of study.
My parents and 3 siblings are in Nigeria here. Those are my home ties though one lives in the UK.

I think the cause is not far from this. The money you guys shows is very very very small and again you didn't assure the VO you are coming back with your spouse at the end of his study. Check the post @BE811APP commented above.

Hi Iboloh,

As BE811APP mentioned in one of his comments that he received his passport as a means of identification for his medicals. This could be the same as your case. Just chill to know why your passport was dispatched. I pray though that it's for medical purpose. Best wishes.
