@ justwise and all the people in the house , what do you have to say to my question based on your experience here? If you miss the question then here is the question again, if the VO ask why are you going to america to give birth when you are in the UK. What are the best response to give. thanks justwise: |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by MamaOO: 8:38pm On Jul 12, 2017 |
alabizzzz:I know this might sound kind of silly of me. But i'll advise you say the truth. For the citizenship. You can't say for better healthcare because obviously you live in the UK and healthcare is pretty much the same here and over there. And I even feel saying anything other than that might anger the VO cos they might feel you're being shady and not telling the truth. They will appreciate the truth in your case. Let us know how it goes 1 Like |

Hi reniduke How did you sort your paed after childbirth? Did you pre-arrange with any paediatrician or you used Emory's? How much were you billed for it? I'd appreciate any input from any Emory Midtown mamas. cc. cfcchick reniduke: |

Hi, I'm going to El Paso in mid-August and wanted to ask if anyone who used Doctores Para ti ended up having complications and paying the exorbitant daily fees for mom or baby? Of course every case is different, but my concern is frequency of complications which make the fixed pricing less relevant. Also curious about how long it took to get the passport. Did you book a ticket leaving el Paso that had a flexible date to allow for delays? Any insight appreciated! Cuteaidomo: |

My passport is still in my maiden name since i got married. Just fill it the way it is written on your passport. Thats what they work with. Marylandmama: |

Hello Guys, My wife is schedule for an interview with US embassy for First week of August and the testimonies and advice from this forum has been amazing. We plan she would be staying with my relative in Brooklyn New York and we use Kings County Hospital. Has anyone here used this hospital, ideas on the cost of delivery(Virginal/CS) and Any Doctors contact there to get correspondence. Thanks for your assistance. 1 Like |

boadi: Im not sure if you are asking or affirming that complications are frequent, which is untrue since complications are rare. If you are affirming that there is fraud and that there are somehow more complications in El Paso than other hospitals, this is a very serious accusation given the regulations required by all healthcare providers in the USA and believe you should specify what you meant. If you are asking what happens in the rare case that there should be a serious complication, the answer is, the hospital offers at least an 80% discount to non-insured self paying patients. 1 Like |

Hi, I was in the same shoe as you in 2015 when I had my son in New York. When I was asked this question I told them that I have family in the US who will take proper care of me and since I can afford it at this time I decide to come over. This was my answer and immediately, the guy stamped me in. Hope this helps. alabizzzz: 2 Likes |
