Me: i went blank, i couldn't remember what my dad does, i was lost for words for like 35 seconds, she was just looking at me to say something, me i was just struggling to say but i couldn't, she noticed that and she said don"t worry take your time, settle down but yet i couldn't say a word, i was just smiling shaking my head, after some seconds she moved her head closer to the window glass and said relax, take your time we are just having a conversation with an elegant smile on her face while she was saying that.. before you know it i just pick up like motor wey dem dey push

Me: My Dad is into real estate business and he also import ties from Spain (although i starmara a little bit)

VO: I will be approving your visa, pick it up in 3 days time, she pick up the white paper and circle a place there, gave it to me with my i20 and said i should keep my i20 safe as will be required at the Port entry. Na so i collect my visa ooo No singles document was asked.


My transcript seems long here but it"s actually less than 4 mins with Vo because she speaks very fast and i also respond very fast as well.

Congratulations. I like the detailed nature of your transcript and no doubt depicts what transpired. I have to say I found the demeanor and mien of the VO that interviewed you to be relaxing and reassuring. I really like the way she interviews and interact with applicants. It really beats me why anyone would not want to interview with her. Even those that she eventually denies are given ample time to make their case.

he planned to take a certain role with a sport agency he works for in his state and maybe that could also promote him to federal level..

There was a middle aged man before me that says he want his interview in igbo language. I think he's one of those fanatics biafra guy. He delayed for almost 30mind. The VO has to call one inn ladyvtovtranslate for her so as to know what to tell him.

Mine went thus:

me: I am heading to prairies view A&M for my master degree.

VO: Have you travelled before?
me: yes, India, on 2013

Hi peep, I decided to drop this, after almost never posting anything on here. Before traveling to the states I use to visit this forum almost on daily basis and I must saw the forum is awesome. I learnt so much about student visa from school to visa applications. I don't really have much to say, than you guys should keep up the good work. Before I forget, I still visit nairaland often, just not this forum, so I am still pretty much a proud nairalander!
