I saw a pattern here, when Yoruba post their world class inventions, my igbo people will scream artificial intelligence and post substandard products produced or assembled in Nnewi or some of that their consonant studded sounding towns. They believe if it is to tagged locally made, it must be substandard and inferior and that is what Yoruba's don't do, they believe anything worth doing must be done tastefully well and they still don't believe a perforce can be found in Ogun State, it kills them really. They don't believe it that such rare and world class inventions and productions can come from quiet, self effacing and bashful Yoruba's, they instantly become intimidated by such supernova and intergalactic brains and inventions. They can't just wrap their tiny brains around it, so they result to pull them down syndrome, demonise their cultures and even foods, take their few bad eggs for the lots.

They just can't believe these brown roof people are capable of these world class feats. This is just the tip of the ice berg, we push the boundaries here. We don't mind you guys catching up, but while you celebrating your grades, like neco and jamb, we jet off at the speed of light, and the cycle is repeated.tfc

Yorubas did NOT win igbos in the civil war. Nigeria won. Other tribes including dome south south and middle belt tribes fought against igbos. Some igbos even fought against igbos. It was not a yoruba victory, it was Nigerias victory. Wounded tiger.
Have you forgotten the magic wand??

One even said that they produce artificial intelligence...
Just imagine what this people represents...

Let me continue with my tour ....
they end up posting fastfood, pharmacy, coinoil...
I can not just stop laughing on their low mental esteem...
We are posting Cars, motorcycles, phones, tricycles and they are posting artificial or fake intelligence....

Honestly, am very proud of you guys who made this victory possible. Yorobats and their muds played a smart game on this topic and we would have lost but am happy at last that some of you were vigilant. You see, i consider this topic a very important one because it relates to Nigeria's economy, wealth and future industralization. I saw pics of industrial bases emerging in the East to which the west has no answer. In future, Yoruba media will say they led nigeria's industrial growth. Am glad that this matter is resolved and the facts have been laid bare for everyone. Congrats to you guys again. their tears have just begun. Senior nairalanders like myself now watch from the sidelines while our trainees cheesy do the job of demolishing yorobatts. They know in their hearts that they lost an economic war but like a typical devil, they will never accept it. I SALUTE you guys.

Coscharis Group
is a wholly owned Nigerian Conglomerate with businesses and interests that span across various sectors of the Nigerian economy: Automobile, Medical, Foods & Beverages, Information Technology, Engineering and Agriculture. With globally respected partners and an iconic brand portfolio, Coscharis has continued to be a considerable contributor to Nigeria's economy.

Coscharis Group from its humble beginning proceeded unto the automobile sales as the sole representative of the BMW brand in Nigeria. Thereafter, the success story of being a noble ambassador of the BMW brand in Nigeria made the grand entry of other great brands like Jaguar LandRover, Ford, Mini, Morris Garages and finally the luxurious Rolls-Royce brand into the Nigerian market with Coscharis as the second franchisee in the whole of Africa. Furthermore, within the auto industry Coscharis holds sole franchise of the Abro automotive care brands and the car rental franchise for Sixt Rent a Car through its subsidiary Coscharis Mobility in Nigeria.

Coscharis Group's interest spread beyond the automobile sector with subsidiaries such as Coscharis Technology Ltd that plays big within the ICT sector representing various global brands in Nigeria. Likewise Coscharis' interest in the medical sector is present in Coscharis Medical & Foods Ltd and CG Biostadt. As a result of further diversification of business focus, the Group entered into a Private - Public initiative to engage in the agricultural sector of the economy with the establishment of Coscharis Farms Ltd which aims to become of one of the largest rice producing farms in Nigeria in the nearest future. Coscharis in a bid to consolidate business in the manufacturing sector undertook the bottling and distribution of sachet and table water via Coscharis Beverages Ltd established in 2002 and most recently in 2014 embarked on assembly of Ford rangers in Nigeria through Coscharies group

What about the beauty industry, Photography, arts no be yorubas dominate everything

yorubas have been doing international concert since 1927

is that not an enterprise

i remember papa ajasco

i remember super story

i remember jennifa

i be edo boy but igbos to shout abeg

una try but yoruba dey lead una

yes yorubas are not straight forward but very ambitious and by far the most successful ethnic group

What you call not being straightforward is known as tact. Perhaps this is the reason Yoruba can live peacefully with different ethnic groups, even Yorubas outside of Nigeria are just the same. It is actually a good trait not a bad one. Ibos unfortunately are the direct opposite.

Stop staining this thread with akpu bitterness. Which useless cars have you been posting?Which stupid motorcycles? You have shamelessly been reposting same less than 10 pics on all pages of this thread yet you're screaming about 'posting cars'. grin You are all jokers I swear. Wasn't one of you wailing about yorubas posting 'non-tech' pics yet you all were busy posting tummy tummy noodles[which no one has ever seen or tasted, not even yourselves], and some other shameful pix? One even went so low to post pix from a fuccking 'trade fair', a TRADE FAIR for the love of God
undecided that one is very serious.
BTW aren't you all ashamed to post certain pix, the shabbily arranged and poorly packaged Aba made goods for example. The fact that something is locally produced doesn't mean it should bear such distasteful appearance. Did you not see the yoruba made shoes someone posted here? One igbo boy even mistook them for foreign shoes. grin grin grin grin. That is one edge quality will always have over quantity. That being said, take your L and move on.

I can not be pushed to insult anybody......

(CNN) -- Nigerian-born entrepreneur Kase Lawal is the epitome of the American dream. Arriving to the US a young, idealistic student, Lawal has carved a name for himself in one of the most competitive industries in the world: Oil.
Now head of a multi-billion dollar empire, his Houston-based company, CAMAC, is one of the largest black-owned businesses in the U.S., generating over $2 billion dollars a year.
Founded nearly 25 years ago, Lawal built CAMAC (which stands for Cameroon-American) from a small agriculture business into a global oil company. But it's taken a lot of hard work, determination and guts to get him to the top.
Born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1954, Lawal became interested in America and its civil rights movement during his teens. After finally persuading his father, a local politician, to send him to university in America, Lawal headed to Georgia and then Houston, where he attended the Texas Southern University.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1976, Lawal, like many of his classmates, started out as a graduate in the energy industry. First as a chemist for Dresser Industries (now Halliburton) and then as a chemical engineer with Shell Oil Refining Co.

During this time he met his wife, Eileen through a mutual friend and had his three children.
Now married and settled, it wasn't long before the innovative young Nigerian started to implement his business ideas.
In 1986 he established CAMAC, a company trading agricultural commodities such as sugar, tobacco and rice. In the early 90s he made the leap into the energy sector after the Nigerian government started to develop its energy market.
With his knowledge of Nigeria and his Houston address, Lawal was ideally positioned to attract major oil companies. In 1991 CAMAC made a deal with the oil giant Conoco, agreeing to jointly operate and share production from any Nigerian discoveries.
This turned out to be Lawal's big break.
With his political contacts, local market knowledge and now with the backing of a major oil firm, Lawal's Houston-based company became an instant player in the energy industry.
As Lawal told CNN: "That partnership I believe was the cornerstone of the CAMAC that you know today. Subsequently with that credibility and the advantage of partnering with Conoco, we were also able to partner with BP and also with Statoil of Norway and currently we have made a partnership with Eni, the largest Italian company, which is one of the top five oil companies in the world."
Now CAMAC has offices in London, Johannesburg, Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria and is involved in oil exploration, refining and trading.
He was awarded the USAfrica Business Person of the Year in 1997 and in 2002 CAMAC was named the largest African-American owned company on the Black Enterprise 100s list.
