Op I totally disagree withyou that Nigerian men are selfish but I agree that some parts of our culture and past believes does not favor ladies just like it doesn't favor men in some aspects

Take for example
In the past it was believed that the man must provide every thing for the family while the wife seat at home and do nothing....but thank God we now have ladies with a different mindset

Same as we now have a lot of men and families with different mindset regarding the issues you raised
