quickly take it back to your wallet
there's a possibility of two software's reading differently and a possibility of 1 not recognizing a block (in this scenario some wallet's will not recognize you BTC as genuine) thus the debate between miner's (possible losses of coins in the event of bug's but it's something that can be managed)
if you've an LTC it's preferable you sell but that's if you'll not run on a loss the challenge is between the different block pools software's I'll update the name's later....
transfer your alt coin to your alt wallet,
wait for block chain to announce their success. please avoid being in a rush to test immediately after the upgrade...
