Before that they should stop politicians from sending their children to school abroad and they should also ban elected officials from seeking medical treatment abroad. 330 Likes 30 Shares |

ChieduJoshua081:they don't come here because our production environment is not friendly. Make Nigeria business friendly, more competitive and see if those guy will not come down here, and even see if any nigerian will travel out for video productiion. Or do you want them to be patrotic when yourself is not. U travel outside for your medical care, you eat oyibo food, you buy house in europe, buy share in foregn company etc and you want video production to be done in nigeria which you dont even know how they start. Shame on government. 54 Likes 2 Shares |

They should stop exporting crude and importing refined crude n petroleum products! So they are worried that Nigerians patronise the economy of others with their private money and bring in d products for Nigerian consumption when nature has blessed us with crude oil yet we import petrol, kerosene and diesel? Politicians should stop patronising foreign medical facilities and they should provide electricity 24/7 then they can be seen to make some sense. So now they want to legislate on stakeholders with their private money when they can't even fix basic infrastructure with public funds! God punish these mad dogs! If they need to to shoot international scenes like all dem 30 days in Atlanta and Osuofia in London, what then happens? 68 Likes 7 Shares |

Joblessness, something entertainers all over the world do without hindrance. Well sha, what do you expect from someone who uses a hundred people to dress and undréss masquerades ? Nigerians have also made it a crime for govt officials to go abroad for treatment 12 Likes 1 Share |

Nonsense Legislation is not the solution to everything The reason more music videos are shot abroad than at home is lack of infrastructure If government is embarrassed by this then they should shape up and build up Nigeria 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Idiotic policy. Not every movie is produced in the country. Example part of Lord of the rings was made in new Zealand. He said the situation had hampered empowerment of practitioners in the industry, the development of the sector and the nation’s economy in general. The sector will grow regardless. They are higher Nigerians to play parts. 5 Likes |

If they could the crazy FG will do it. But this one pass them. They should first block radio biafra from reaching Nigeria. The so called FG should be ready to block all satellite channels to achieve it. Or better arrest people who tune in to anything outside NTA. 2 Likes |

The Federal Government says it has taken steps to amend the Nigeria Broadcasting Code to discourage the production of Nigerian movies and music outside the shore of the country. Can the federal government start by discouraging the treatment and recuperation of Nigerian President outside the shore of the country? Lai Mohamed is goofing here again as usual. The best the FG should have done is to look into the reasons why our movie, music and reality TV show producers are making their production outside Nigeria and provide solutions to the reasons. Instead of this needless code amendment. If the solutions are provided, no one would need coercing the producers to make their production here in Nigeria, if they tried weighing the cost of production outside the shore and it is more expensive and less profitable to them. We have to understand these producers are business men who have to give out their best to make the maximum profit. 17 Likes 2 Shares |
