Ilovemystate and co! Nice job. Just few Igbo warriors dealt mercilessly with multitude of Yoruba warlords and their minion, so much that they were reduced to patting each other at the back. Quite hilarious. Not a fan of threads like this, as I don't see the co relation between this thread and self determination for Ndiigbo. But I like that my kinsmen did a nice job here. This is the type of thread where Chino of the old, not the current version excelled in. 5 Likes |

Osaze007: Don't mind him. Even the Seplat he quoted has been posting losses over the past few quarters. Last recorded loss was about $18 million USD. Price of oil has even dropped significantly over the past few years. Meanwhile, I came across this piece of news. There is an Edo chap from your end, that is making waves in the glassware market, which is dominated by multinational conglomerates, and foreigners. Was quite surprised to learn about his business feat. His name is John Aluya and he runs a company called Technoglass Limited. Born in the 50s, Aluya was an ex-banker with over 35 years of banking and business development experience. A man of humble beginning who was fascinated with glass all his life. As a young child he under-studied his uncle who was a glass merchant in Benin and his enthusiasm into the glass business is a living testimony today. Technoglass Industries Ltd located in Lagos, Nigeria is a subsidiary of Crystal Glass Nigeria Limited, which was established in 1985 as a trading company with specialisation in the supply of float glasses, double glazed glasses, tempered or laminated safety glass to the Nigerian construction industry. The growth of the construction industry brought about the need to have an indigenous company that will manufacture and process safety glasses and this led to the establishment of Technoglass Industries Ltd in the year 2004. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Luxury fashion TTDALK ttdalk.ng Temilade Osinfade is the founder and Creative Director at T.T Dalk. During his days at the university, he would draw out footwear designs on paper for local shoe craftsmen to make for him. His shoes and slippers caught the attention of other students and that’s how the T.T Dalk footwear business was born. T.T Dalk is revolutionizing the local footwear business in Nigeria and has been featured on several international fashion shows and runways. He primarily sells his shoes on online stores and a few boutique retail outlets in Nigeria’s major cities. In a recent press interview, he gave the following advice: “… you need to have passion for the business, it takes a lot of consistency and perseverance. Define your brand, and define your target market. You will not find many people who are knowledgeable about the business, so you need to educate yourself and do most of the work at the early stages. You must be very creative, and most especially you need to take risks. Get out of your comfort zone and explore the outside world!” T.T Dalk is definitely a promising brand to watch in Africa’s fast evolving footwear landscape. 3 Likes

pazienza:Instead of you insulting him, why not counter his claims with a superior argument. The fact is obvious. I dare you to mention any igbo owned company that is superior (or even at par) with that of the yorubas in any sector of the economy. Chest beating, wailing and reposting/repeating irrelevant pics won't change fact. Fact is sacred and sacrosanct. 9 Likes |

PVision2020: What obvious fact? Yorubas produce heaven and Earth, then why are they not seeking for independence to enjoy those goodies alone or atleast have full control of them while they make use of ECOWAS to reach the rest of West Africa? Why are Yorubas clinging unto Nigeria. Go all over the social media ( facebook mainly) , it's Yorubas crying all over about Igbo desire to disintegrate Nigeria and free ourselves, why are Yorubas not desirous of independent Yorubaland? Fact is that self confident productive people would always seek for a separation from the mad crowd to enable them think and act outside the cacophony and unleash their full potentials, especially when the crowd is a failed one like Nigeria. Btw, didn't insult him. Just pointed out the obvious. He isn't an Igbo, he didn't need to claim Igbo to make his point, but since he wants to claim Igbo to add weight to his opinion, it's only pertinent that we strip him of his false Igbo tag first and foremost. 4 Likes 1 Share |

pazienza:1. Thank God you indirectly accept yorubas superiority in most sectors of the economy. 2. only slaves ask for freedom, as it stands yorubas are not in bondage. We're thriving politically, economically and technologically in the Nigerian Union. So why opt out? We have learnt to be magnanimous in Victory n tactical/honorable in defeat. And not to cry like babies when we are marginalized and persecuted. Btw California Economy is bigger than that of most countries but she is still in the US union. Mind you, when the time is ripe we will harness our media/diplomatic prowess to exit the nigeria union effortlessly. Lastly: whether igbos secede or not is not our headache. Igbos need the yorubas more than we need them (Walmart and shoprite will cater for the Alaba, Ladipo, Idumota igbo bois if they decide to secede). I must commend you for being a gentle/cerebral man unlike some of your ipob folks. Sleep well 8 Likes 1 Share |

PVision2020: Wait first, why do the Igbo keep lamenting that you Yoruba people do not want to leave Nigeria? How is it their headache, if your tribe decides to remain in this country, biko nu? Is it because they believe they cannot get their proposed republic, if you chaps do not leave Nigeria as well? I don't get it, o! 1 Like |
Re: Yorubas Are The Most Industrious,Richest & Educated Tribe in Nigeria & Africa by pazienza(m): 11:35pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
PVision2020: 1. What? Like really? Are you that desperate? You could easily clone an Igbo moniker and do so Nah, if you are this desperate. 2. Really? Your Arewa overlords don't think so though : "...We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian Yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing Islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword, and most of them chose the Koran..." I understand that the worst form of slaves are those not even aware of their bondage. We all know that Yorubas psychologically believe they can't thrive outside Nigeria, which is why most of you lots are clinging tightly unto Nigerian unity, the last time you were on your own, Kiriji was the order of the day, and now, you are even more diametrically divided by Islam and Xtianity, with your Muslims brothers drawing you into eternal servitude to Arewa. Analytical minds know why Nigeria is a safe option for Yorubas, it allows you to ignore your internal problems, while you continue to enjoy port monopoly and perks that come with it in Africa most populous geographical entity. 3. California has fiscal federalism in USA, USA don't run similar structure as Nigeria, yet there have been calls for California independence in the past. Moreover USA is not controlled by Indigenous people, it's a migrant nation, it's a poor example to use in this discussion. 4. Ndiigbo need Yorubas, you say, yet it's Ndiigbo who are pushing hard to secede while it is Yorubas who are fighting hard to preserve Nigerian unity by spilling Igbophobic rants all over the internet and devising many means of blackmail to force Ndiigbo to drop Biafra agitation. Surely, something doesn't add up, and actions they say, would always speak louder than words. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

PVision2020: Yoruba superiority in what sector. I have never seen a people as shameless as yatiribas. You pipu just cling to this thread to wipe your shame using cunny. Unfortunately many pipu can see through your lies. I challenge you to ask objective minds what they think about this thread and you will be shocked. I have heard from over 12 nigerians who admit the industrous nature of igbos. But yoribas will deny. Wise people know that an admission of failure is the first step towards its correction. But not yorubas. They will cling, argue, deny and debate the obvious truth. Yes, a yoruba man can even deny that Nigeria is in africa. That is your nature and it is your greatest set back. I have relished the victory and achievements of my igbo brothers and for the unteempth time, i remind yaribas that I am not igbo. But i will never deny their greatness. When i see yoruba greatness too, i will openly celebrate it. Until then, congrats to the igbos for their WORTHY industrial products. And for the shameless yatibas, they should hold their useless elders responsible. They should continue rubbing shoulders with backward fulanis. This is the result. SHAME to yorubas. |
