codedguy1: Alexis Sanchez is the answer not Perisic. I dont know why Man Utd is not heavily linked to the guy the way Man City has been linked. Guys if City should get Alexis and sort their defence, i will concede the EPL to them. Because that attack will wreck epl teams. NB: please where can our friendlies be watched. Are they available on Dstv.? 1 Like |

I don't know why niggas like dreaming over transfers! Now na sanchez una need? You think wenger is mad? With all the bad blood between him and mourinho? He had no choice with RVP...that niggas contract had almost run out so they had to cash in...sanchez still has time on his contract! Why should jose even focus on a player that would only bring about a much needed transfer delay or ultimately end in failure and waste the time which we can as well use in getting ourselves other wingers like even dembele, perisic or lozano? The only way Alexis sanchez can join united is if he hands in a transfer request, goes on strike, refuses to discuss with other clubs and insists on joining man united only? Does anyone see that even happening? After he snubbed us the 1st time? City have been in contact? Bayern have been? But we that have double their money have not been? Jose has his reasons for not even looking that way! Those days of chasing Ramos or messi have ended! As he said before the season started.."only those who want to play for us will be considered".....2 more spaces left to fill.... 2 Likes |

funlord:Wenger has never for once hidden his desire to hold on to Sanchez, but a very good bid will put that resolve to test. Bayern have said they won't be spending big on Sanchez, that rules them out. The only non epl club that could bid an amount big enough to test Wenger's resolute resolve is psg, and even these ones are prudent these days. We will have to see how strong the desire to leave from Sanchez is in the coming days, but it will not be very wise to bet against Wenger caving and deciding to cash out, especially at this stage. We will have to wait and see how Wenger reacts to the interview and more improvements, how Sanchez follows it up. |

Heard united don't mind offering smalling and dharmian for perisic! Makes sense die! Meaning 2 academy boys will fight for those 2 positions with jones and shaw! Or maybe even sesegnon can fall in for less than £5m from fulham! |

It will not be very wise for us to not have competed for his signature, if for any reason Wenger decides to sell to a rival. |

funlord: Sanchez was exactly in the same situation as RVP when Wengay sold him to us. Unless Mourinho was convinced for sure that he won't sign for us especially after making contact with Sanchez via his agent, I see no reason why we shouldn't have tried signing him. The Perisic deal has be ongoing for over a month now, if we'd put that effort on Sanchez while pursuing other options simultaneously, maybe there would be a glimmer of hope in signing him. I prefer buying Sanchez for 50m than that average Perisic for around the same sum. I just don't understand what Mourinho sees in that man. We can afford to pay Sanchez the 300k he's looking for and the UCL football too, we'd have gone for him especially with Bayern not interested anymore. |

Nihilist: Lol copycat. However no delusions here unlike those who think that Bats will score dozens of goals this season. The fact that the eternally impotent Willian grabbed a hat trick should have had a moderating effect on the fan response. |

Manchester United are demanding that Real Madrid include Toni Kroos in any deal for David de Gea, reports the Daily Mirror . The Spanish giants are apparently still interested in signing De Gea, although Jose Mourinho will apparently not allow him to leave unless the German is included as a makeweight. This should put Madrid off 1 Like |

sinizia: If he has a current contract that expires next year then why should we pay £50m for him now when we could as well sign him for free next summer or sign a pre contract with him and then snap him up for £20m in January while also giving martial the chance to make the position his own or kuku using that £50m to buy the potential of dembele or fill some other more pressing position? Should we be funding arsenals war chest? |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 8:51am On Jul 16, 2017 |
funlord: Yes, signing a pre-contract with him is very nice but what it basically means is that we made a move for him which my post is all about. Sanchez is not Messi or Ororo and therefore is highly sellable. But not trying to get him is where I'm angry at. It's simple; contact his agent and tell him United is interested in buying him and offering him the Champions League football he craves. Then hear how much he wants to earn and if we can pay it, then we agree to pay him that if he chooses us. Next, he'll be told to submit a transfer request or publicly declare he wants to leave fast so as to hasten the process and allow us to know if Assnal will agree to sell or hold onto him so we'd pursue Perisic. If Arsenal caves in and wants to sell instead of lose him for free then we go for him , or the pre-contract comes in at that moment where he'll agree to sign for us once his contract expires. Or we might even decide not to pursue him again since we need him before the starts. But basically, Show interest first instead of relaxing and allowing City get a free shot at him. 1 Like |
