Long Post Alert ..

Visa Approved today... No Documents Asked.. No Travel History.. Community College . First time Visa Applicant..

7:45 am batch

Nothing is Impossible with God..

First let me appreciate members of this thread, who day and night help people who they don't even know..

Special thanks to Walspring.. His the first person I contacted on this thread and he was of immense help. There were times I was so discouraged.. He called me and gave me valuable advice and testimonies from others that mine would soon come.. Even when I wanted to drift to Australia.. He stopped me and told me to continue with Us..

Special thanks also to akandry.. His transcript inspired me to go the embassy with a community college i20.. His transcript was my main reference material in preparing for my interview ..He was so sure I would get the visa..Even when my faith was shaky.

Also to texrem who helped me deliver my i20.. And my new main guy oludare01.. He paid my sevis and eshipglobal fees for my 2nd i20 as there was mistake in the first one sent. He even reviewed my transcript.. Correct Guy cool

And also Mr blacnewton .. He was so prompt in responding to my PM for a mock interview. I had just 1 mock interview where he denied my visa. The advice he gave to me totally changed the transcript I had before. It was like i finally got it after speaking to him.. My mind lit up and I saw very obvious errors in my transcript..

I am going to say it bare as it happened .. If you don't believe, just jump the part you don't believe and take the side you decide to believe.. I can't argue.

Possible Red Flags were: High school- 2009 and community college plus age.. I also didn't go with a bank statement..

Arrived Lagos on saturday, I went straight to locate the consulate Office. Immediately I saw the US flag I knew that was it.. I started praying oo.. As i walked through. Using "Joshua 1:3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses".. The 2 security men outside were looking at me suspiciously.. Me I nor send. I was walking up and down.. I told God on Monday I wasn't coming for my visa interview but to collect my visa . I also read up about body languages and how they can affect an applicant in an interview.

Fast forward to Sunday left were I was staying in Ajah to locate a hotel I could stay close to the embassy. From search on this forum the closest and cheapest was the hotel close Methodist church in obalende. I find Methodist church but didn't see.. I moved from corner to post until one man directed me to a hotel of 7000.. It wasn't pleasant but I had no choice .. Famoos Guest house close to UBA Bank.-ODo street

I woke up at 1am to prepare but it wasn't just flowing. I was stuttering and mixing points. Something just told me to just praise God.. so I went on YouTube and started playing "Hallelujah Challenge" videos while singing along and dancing. I praised for about 2 hrs and then just went to sleep to wake up by 4am. I woke up few minutes to 4am and was just listening to Christian songs on YouTube.. I just neglected the preparation. Went to have my bath by 5:30. Joined "covenant hour of prayer " for a while before setting out.

I dressed smartly .. Properly ironed white long sleeve.. A tie and some nice pair of cooperate trousers. It was about to rain so i Boarded a taxi (a drop) to Walter Carrington. On getting to the junction, those touts started clamouring for the can guy to stop that he can't go above a point before he would be turned back by security operatives. At the end this turned out to be a lie.. I couldn't weep enough cos I believed them. They told me their usual jerk of staple this and that. I didn't even listen I was angry already. The rain came pouring had to jog to the embassy to join the queue. I was drenched and all my swag was just washed off.. Did the normal verification and tagging and the normal security check ups.

Fast forward to the main judgement room. I was smilling and trying to remember my already rehearsed points. I was later directed to Windows 5(I think *didn't pay attention*). The woman had just denied somebody and asked me to come forward. And then the interview proper .

Vo: Good Morning ( With a very pleasant voice. I mean she sounded do sweet)

Me: Good morning ma

Vo: let me have your documents
Me: Absolutely (Passed it with smile while still admiring how her voice sounded)

Immediately the i20 got to her hand, I don't know if she has seen the school I was applying to . She asked

VO: Why do you want to study at this school
Me: (I was confused for a while cos I didn't expect that question to come so quick. ) *stuttering* I said " I would love to attend this school because they offer a good diverse international environment. There are lots of international students So class discussions are going to be very interesting and also the school offers a lot of resources to support students success such as the writing centre, the transfer and academy centre.

She nods

She types for a while

VO: How many schools did you consider
Me : mentioned them

Vo: so why are you not going for you bachelor's why an associate degree
Me:An associate degree is the only place where I can gain so much in-depth knowledge in the first two years before transferring and also it would help me understand how the US educational system works before transferring for my undergraduate degree..

VO: so you want to transfer after you are done with your associate degree
Me: Yes ma. (She nods)

VO: When did you finish high school
Me: 2009

Vo: what have you been doing since then
Me: I worked as a cyber cafe assistant and this fueled my passion for computer science. I also went for a web design course in web development at Mikon Institute before getting a technical certificate in computer engineering certificate.

*cuts in* seems she was just asking questions from my ds160 and verifying my answers from what I wrote.

Vo: so you took sat and toefl
Me: Yes ma.

Nods ....

Vo:What's the name of your secondary school
Me: mentioned it

Vo: is it a boarding school or a day school
Me : it was mixed day and boarding.

Vo: so you were a day student
Me: Yes.. My parents had a house close to the school.

VO:Who's Sponsoring you
Me: My Dad

Vo: What does he do
Me: He's an engineer at bleep

Vo: How many siblings do you have
Me : 2

VO; and they are both in Nigeria
Me : Yes ma

VO: Your dad and mum are in Nigeria
Me : Yes ma

Vo: Do you have any friends, relatives abroad
Me : No ma.

She begins typing again.. At this point I was trying to look for the white paper as nah so so blue paper full her table.

Suddenly ..

She brought out a white paper and said I would need my i20 the point of entry.. so I should endeavour to keep it with me during the flight. She said my passport would be ready in 3 working days.. It was like a dream. She then passd my i20 and the white paper..

I said thank you ma and sped off..

....

I read all the transcript on community college application on this forum and some of the denials. Read ...Read and Read transcripts. Have pre knowledge of what you are applying for. ASK FOR GOD'S FAVOUR..

Good evening everyone... I intend to start my admission application for fall 2018 resumption.... But I have something bothering me regarding my international passport... The thing is I had an agreement with my neighbor back in delta who stays and do business in Gabon, Libreville ...he hired An agent to process my documents, after some months staying in Benin republic I finally traveled but had a stop over in Cameroon... On queuing back to continue the journey the immigration officer asked for my passport and I gave him and he looked into my visa and said it was fake... I was shocked and traumatized.... But I was respected because I was a Nigerian. There is nothing written on my passport ... My question is will the fake visa have any effect on my future applications what should I do before applying please I need urgent answer

I dont know much about african visas but gone are the days when you can blame an agent for anything fake...now the responsibility lies on you . You need to apply by yourself or take ownership of the visa been issued

For me avoid stories that touch.
