If i were to answer this, my answer will be like this:
I am going for a Masters degree in Mass Communication at the University of ........ I will be working on 'Print journalism in developing nations' with Prof Lucas. At the end of the day, this will help me address .... challenges facing print journalism in developing nation like Nigeria.

Think deep and articulate your study plan properly unless you are not really a student. Even me wey be Engineer, I don come up with better topic sef. Think and come up with something better, something you can talk about.



Now as a graduate, you need to stop this talk about ranking and using google. Ranking is usually subjective and the VO's know this. It is stale. As a graduate student, your reason should be more about your career progression in relation to the program offered in the school that is not offered anywhere else, the research the school is offering, opportunities for real life practices or hands on experiences in journalism through field trips and trainings etc.



If you cannot boldly answer what you do and what you write about, then even me am in support of the VO denying you. Like seriously, you've been working and you cannot talk about it. You need to know your job description and be ready to explain if need be.



I think you did not answer question 1, 2, 3, and 4 correctly. There are so many things wrong with your responses. One, you lacked the confidence required of a reporter. Work on it. Also, you need to know what you filled in your DS160 at the back of your hand unless you used an agent. In addition, read other transcript and have a mock with the gurus in the house.
