dupe007: Letter of consent from your DH? If that's what you mean, you dont need DHL. Let him scan it to you and you sign your part. #Shikena |

Dwebb55:. Sorry i missed this. I'm looking at using Inova fairfax in Virginia. Gone through the thread and there isn't much information on it like Henrico hospital but its quite far from MD. I intend staying in Baltimore. You mentioned you had posted previously but it was taken out. Could you please share the name of the doctor you used/email contact and the cost. (including hospital bills/Paed/epidural). Do they give acceptance letter or the email correspondence would be fine during interview. Also, was the doctor's office at Baltimore or VA. You can email me if it's more convenient Thanks 1 Like |

Re: Give birth in the US. Hello everyone I am new here but have found so many useful tips here. I gave birth to my son in the US April 2016, and I am pregnant again. My medical visa is still valid and I intend to use it again to travel to have my baby. Will I need to write the embassy again or just travel with it? This POE thing got me frightened even though I was allowed in the last time but delayed i can't help but ask if there might be any hassle entering from Houston. Again I intend to change my doctor and hospital will that also be a problem at poe? 1 Like 1 Share |

Senatornuella: I don't think you have anything to fear since you have a medical visa. Houston poe got nothing on you. No,you don't have to write to the embassy for you to travel with your old visa, you're good to go. My only advice is for you to hold your statement of zero balance plus all your old receipts for 2016 missionary journey Using a different Dr this time around shouldn't be an issue, just hold Dr and hospital correspondence for this new Dr you plan to use. 1 Like |

baeboss: Good day. I am new here. Please can I have a break down on how to get the visa on arrival for my LO. Thank you very much. Justinosuigwe@gmail.com |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by baeboss: 1:47pm On Jul 18, 2017 |
dupe007: It depends on your location. E.g Houston accepts notarized form from a notary public but El paso is strictly from the US embassy. So check the law applicable in your location. You can't notarize it on your own. The form is meant for your husband stating that since he can't be with you in order to apply for the baby's US passport, he is authorizing you to do it on his behalf. So he has to notarize it and sign before sending it to you. |

I will like to find out this: Can i book a flight to New York to get to the US because its cheaper when my Visa Interview captured that i am going to Houston, Texas? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by cucudie: 8:45pm On Jul 18, 2017 |
@abujaniv I have series of worries that needs clarification. Please be kind enough to provide me with feedback on one of my worries: Flight to the US (E.g Houston, Tx) is on the high side for August travelers. Is it okay to fly to New York and then get a connecting flight to Houston, Tx to safe cost especially when i have notified the VO during my interview that i am going to Houston? |
