We are glad to announce that today is the start of trials for July, with 37 new candidates. Good luck to them.

..The pre-recruitment test is still open to new candidates for the next batch of trials.

Does this mean that all who participated in the test in the month of July and have not been contacted did not make the cut? embarassed embarassed, Do we still wait for the two weeks evaluation period for those who have only had theirs last week or just move on?

Yes.. All our Nigerian writers are paid directly to their Naira bank accounts.
I was unable to do the typing speed test. Each time I click in the box to start typing, a white screen covers the text so I can't see the words I'm to type. Now, the page is empty. I think since I've tried it twice, I don't have access to it anymore. What can I do?

We are assessing the next batch of candidates now. The next invite email will be over in the next couple of days. It is a rolling recruitment process where we will be taking multiple intakes of new writers.

I would really love to join your team! Can I apply as a writer who writes on topics in the science, technology and health niches?

I strongly believe, with my impeccable writing and research skills, I am a perfect fit for this job.

For those that pass the initial test, the screen continues by way of a 5 day Online training . . .

I bless the day I saw the Dailypost Job Ad. I can't even put a value to what I've been taught in the last three days. I think Nigerian employers need to learn about properly equipping prospective employees with the tools they need to succeed on the job.

The only job application process dt wont leave you sweating buckets....
1st the language pro efficency and writing test
If you pass the intial test you will hear back from them within seven days (in my case at least)
Next is the paid trails....
During the paid trails tasks re given and those who do the task well get to continue
Its fun and you learn alot even if you dont make the cut

Good evening, kindly help me out on this challenge I am having.

I finished all the test stages on Saturday evening, and I got an email from your recruitment team at exactly 11:07pm, informing me that I have successfully completed the application process and will be gotten back to if my effort Is successful in two weeks time.

Now i got the same email from your recruitment team again tonight, hence; I want to know if this is a normal process or I should still be expecting the invite email?

Thanks.

Like we mentioned at the start of this thread, this is not for everyone (like most positions including teaching, banking etc.).

This remote-writer role is strange to many people so it is normal if some find it stressful.

It takes resilience for anyone that has done little or no web writing in the past to get in the groove and become a regular 3000+ words-per day-writer. There were some that couldn't cope and dropped off after a while (some dropped by the company).

However, there are many that have gone on to become proficient at it, happy with their pay (and even got raises). In the Nigerian content writing niche, we offer some of the most competitive rates and we are continually improving. We don't work people "to death" because every qualified writer gets a contract that they review and accept before resuming with us. How is it "working to death" when you already know how much work you are to do each day/month? We don't force overtimes, we don't change the contract.

In our experience, people that treat this role as a full-time job with seriousness and dedication tend to do well. Those that see it as a temporary gig or a way to make some quick money on the side, end up failing.

We are not looking for people that think the role is too stressful.

We that are interested and ready to learn and put in all our best are not picked, I have completed the 3 online stages since but never got any response from daily post. In my own view, I think daily post should try and reply everyone that did the online tests whether passed or failed and tell the ones that are rejected the reason for been rejected, this will do two things: one, it will make the applicant not to keep hope and waiting when he/she should just try something else and secondly, if daily post have room for the applicant to try write the test again, he/she will be able to know and re-write the test. I don't know if daily post understand the point am trying to make?

@Dailyposts

Please i got this on July 12 when i finished the application process and i got this same mail again today.

Hi

Great work for completing the application process.

We will review your written pieces and let you know if they meet our quality standards. If they do we will be in touch shortly to go through the next stage in the recruitment process, which will be a two week paid trial. We run trials every 2 weeks, so you won't have to wait long...

If you haven't heard from us in three weeks your application has been unsuccessful.

Please help.

Hmmm...still no payment. This is why Nigerians find it hard to trust all these online companies.
