To be honest with you europe are tired of migrants

It would be extremely difficult for a single young person from third world country to get a business and tourist visa now

Go and check all the European embassies, is scanty because they are no longer issuing visas. I don't blame them because they are overwhelm presently with refugees

If you are young and single...my advice for you is to use student visa

Italy and France have lately been notorious for denying legitimate requests of visas to Nigerians.

They will sit on your application and your passport for a whole month. Most times they dont know enough about applicants to make decisions but they collect your money and deny you visas anyway.

Check your documents make sure that for each city you have accommodation. I have never been refused visa since I came back from the states. If you are going into a town for business or on official assignment they would expect you to lodge in a hotel because that's how they track your movements because Hotels keep records and your passport so even in emergencies it's good for you but if your staying in someone's house they will be suspicious that you want to become a citizen.

Have your hotel information and flight reservation make sure it's accurate and don't forget to always give an experienced person to read over they might charge but it will save you time

Same thing happened to me . But my friend that had 6million in his account got his visa ,with same info I submitted . Just load your account upto 10m . Then plan your trip letting the consulate how much you intend to spend in your cover letter . But you can as we'll join the forum and read from people's mistakes here on nairaland then try again next year . Ndo .

Shengen area are 26 EU states with open borders with each other n also share a common passport. Few of them are Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway..... Just like ecowas.

Which country exactly are you going to stay in ?

Do you have any relatives or someone in your country of entry?

If yes, does the person have sufficient accommodation?

Is the person salary enough to take care of you during your stay?


Forget all the document not being genuine the major thing they consider when coming to Schengen are the last two points. In most cases if you have someone that meet the above criteria what the person should do is go to his/her local commune, file some paper work to that effect get it stamped by the commune email such to you and you include it with your application. It is better to have a solid accommodation in the country of entrance ( base country) .

But if you did the above and you were still denied then take heart and try next time. I can imagine how disappointing given all the "walk wey dey on top visa matter".

u should have use business busy if u are planing to overstay ur welcome, they hardly denied companies and firms that have good reputation and records, if u are going to embassy like dangote staff or capital oil staff and the company been ur sponsor , who will dare deny u visa, they will give u 1st class treatment at the embassy , u might be stingy to look for reliable agents or ur village people are following around
