Is There A Logical Explaination For This? by flames007(m): 6:10pm On Jul 18, 2017
I've always heard stories about how mobile phone usage in petrol stations or near generator could lead to an explosion.I want to believe that these accounts of explosions near petrol plants are purported(although I still wonder why we are always told to put off mobile phones in petrol station). If using a mobile phone could cause an explosion in such case, how can this be explained scientifically? Why do we receive calls in automobiles and it's still safe?

I've been pondering this thing for a long tym now,not just today.actually went to the filling station today to get fuel.as I was doing stuff with my phone, the petrol attendant asked me,'bros, shey no be call you dey make sha?' I said no but in my mind I was like what's the fuss all about sef? Does it pose any real threat?

If there is such a risk, why do filling stations make use of POS machines ?
