Don't see anything weird bout bread and custard. The custard is just replacing the tea or coffee. The kind of combo that irks me is som1 ordering both egusi and okro soup and mixing together. Yuck 1 Like |

Urbanoversabi: In the ghetto where most of us came from, its usually combined with Ewagoyin (beans) or say, Bread and Tea, or Bread and butter/mayonnaise, bread and groundnut and so on… I think I’ve proven my point… That's not true. That's by the way. Do you like egusi ,ogbono, oh or vegetable soup with bread,? It taste great so try it. You can also try egusi soup with rice and fry plantain, eba with beans (acting as soup) .we learn everyday so try these out |

Afam4eva:Eba (cassava) with soup Garri (cassava) with moimoi (beans) It's typical to combine starchy food with protein like beans Therefore, bread (corn/wheat/cassava) with beans makes sense. 2 Likes |

Three categories. 1. Bread and Palm oil: Inherited this insane dish from my brother after he came home from holidays at OSU. Nigga explained to us there was no time to com soup so all he has to do is pour a thick dose of palm oil into a plate ( those type wey don "sleep", sprinkle a little salt and viola! you're good to go. 2. Chin-Chin and Okro soup: This is as a result of too much shekpe (paraga). Got home after an all night of Craay binge drinking. soup was left over of previous night's supper, chin chin was in the fridge for snacking on. Omo! I just light the gas, carried the pot, headed to the parlour and ate directly from the pot. why I lit the gas still baffles me. 3. Fried pawpaw and roasted eggs: trust me... you don't wanna know what brought around the circumstance of eating this " sacrifice" 3 Likes |
