my laptop just develop a fault few days ago...when I put it on it get started but its not displaying I took it to a technician and he told me the motherboard is bad...pls where can I get the motherboard and how much is the price.... am in pH now but will be coming to Lagos next month... somebody should please help

Bro Try another technician and don't tell him u gave it to someone already
I believe it should be a problem with the display chip

you will end up spending more money. Just buy another board cos if they "work" it, it would be faulty again after few days.

This is not AMD laptop, hp 650 is different from hp 655,in fact hp 650 motherboard is very scarce.


When you come to lag, give it to another engineer to examine it properly for you, if he conclude that you should get a new MOBO, then you can go ahead.

People have different experience, so give it to another engineer first.

If the motherboard is amd I will advice you to change d board and if it's Intel, I can give it a try for you at a cheaper rate and if you are buying a new board old watchout for the kind of board you are buying. And for the other guy wif cooling fan issue away sure are u?
