We do not coach applicants on which specific questions they are likely to be asked. In general, we will ask about an applicant's ties to their home country, and for some firm details about about their intended purpose of travel. Any time an applicant asks for either a B1 or a B2 visa, if they qualify, we issue a combined B1/B2 visa.

Get the visa first and go online you will see different prices for flight to USA.

I went of my visa interview July 12th and I wasnt granted. I thought I caused it myself lol. I actually filled my form myself. it goes like this...

Vo: Gmrn

Me: Gdmrn

vo: where u going?

me: one athletic complex in Atlanta Georgia

vo: why?

me: for a coaching license where u hope to gain competency in coaching young athletes.

vo: are you married?

me: No but I have a partner and we have a son together.

vo: who is paying for Ur trip?

me: my mum

vo: you are not qualified at this time u are welcome to apply at anytime and flash me the blue paper lol. I just smiled and Left.

IMO: though I filled my mum as my sponsored which is true but maybe my salary of 70k wasn't enough. also I didn't fill I was single but domestic partnership because we are planning on our wedding soon though we are engaged and sometimes live together.

Or maybe I am old enough to sponsor myself lol what do you guys think? However, the experience was worth it tho and I hope to apply for a football conference coming up early next year since I am a football coach.

Pls guys is the MRV fee valid just once or twice? Thanks a lot guys, u gave me d courage to apply.

Since you have not paid for the visa, fill another form and be careful to input the correct details. I doubt if u can include those other details u mentioned

Ask that someone you know who know someone inside to give you the information you need. Since you know someone who know someone inside, that someone inside should tell you all you need to know. In that case, you should'nt be asking questions here rather, you should be answering questions

Keep deceiving yourself... if you know someone inside you won't be bother about the cost of a plane ticket to U.S instead you will get the insider visa first then decide on when to travel especially when you know someone inside the airport as well....

Can I get one way ticket for grandma too as we don't want her to travel alone. We are Planing she returns with any of our friends coming home for Christmas then we Will get another ticket that will tally with that of any of friend coming home. As long as you plan for her to return, might as well buy Hera return ticket and save yourself the trouble.
First of all, the return ticket is cheaper, and if you buy a flexible ticket, you can actually make a free date change.
Second, it invites less scrutiny.
I flew on a one-way ticket recently, and I was just vexing for myself.

I think it might be, B1/B2 visa holders are expected to have a return ticket.

Sorry but I tink you av really not learnt anything from this trend. Kindly start from 1 read to page 500 by the time you are through reading apply again if you av spare fund. Trust me you will be granted.

Truly i've not been a fan of 'Travel' section of NL, and i've not done my research personally.
I'm a final year students of unilorin, about starting 2nd sem exam, when i was called by my big Sis who gave me the update 2days ago, that i will go and later come back for my NYSC, going there to work.
Out of curiosity i asked those questions here, my sis wont like it if i ask for the contact of our in-law overseas who know someone, at an early stage, that is why i brought my curiosity here.
I hope we all get my point sirs
