AzKelvin: justifiable and believable are two things ........ Believable is more key . If your question is Hope this explanation is believable ??...nobody can answer that as it is subjective to the ear who hears it ... One VO might accept it another VO might not . You can only hope the ears you tell accept it . 1 Like |

[quote author=DeeTus post=58638822]Please read my message well before you quote me wrongly. I said kids, not marriage. Did you understand her final script she said about the female VO murmuring? Look, murmuring means a lot if you really understand English native speakers.[/quote I'm not quoting you wrongly, the VO murmured because she realized asking if the lady had kids wasn't necessary since she initially stated she wasn't married. What do you even mean by the VO expects her to have kids already *rme* 4 Likes |

borie4u:22k now and you have to request online. Even at that, you need to have someone back there that will be pushing/following up for you, or else it might take months for them to send it. Once sent, it takes 3working days to get to the destination |

napa: This transcript lacks depth. Much more than what you said, focus on how you say it. You were too vague. What are your future career goals? Be specific. Do you have an idea of classes you'll be taking in your curriculum? How does your current job tie with your Master's? You chose Adelphi due to your mentor's recommendation? Which means you got into these three schools, and chose Adelphi over Maryland. And for what? Personal research and rec? Nope, you'll need to come up with better reasons than those. To boost your odds of getting the visa, you'll need to help the VO answer these questions: - Is she really going there to study, and nothing more? - Will money be a problem for her while in school? - Are we sure she's coming back to Nigeria, after school? You can reapply, as soon as you're ready to re-fire! A little prep might help. Better than you just winging it. 4 Likes |

I'm currently doing my nysc but my admission came through with a partial scholarship this month and I have picked a date for my interview but yet to submit my DS160 form.. In the work/education/training information section, I filled in my primary occupation relating to my PPA, I want to ask if it won't make me look as if I'm desperate and ditching my nysc for masters. Please I'd appreciate an input on this: is it mandatory for prospective graduate students to have completed nysc in order to be qualified for a visa I'll appreciate your advise and comments so that I know what to stick wit while submitting my DS160 Thank you 1 Like |

iekene: Follow UP ..So the above discovery was made yesterday at GT Bank Ajah and also GT Bank, the one close to Balogun Market (**I dont know thw bramch name exactly, I am not conversant with Lagos, I find my way using Google Map and asking questions.)..They both gave the same response. I actually checked twice to be sure this was the case. ..Today after collecting my passport at DHL, Victoria Island, I decided to test my findings. I located one big GT Bank. Close to Law School. The place is well arranged and beautiful. So I went to the customer care lady she directed me to the cashier incharge. I was asked for the same thing. - Flight Ticket - Passport Data Page - Passport Visa page On submitting them she asked where's my return ticket, I was like what ?!!!! . Told her am going for studies, with a stern look. She carefully perused my Visa Page and went to her colleague to ask questions. Later went for photocopy, asked me to write my account number and Phone number. and told me to return tomorrow to pick it up. Saying of there's anything they need I would be called. Just make sure it's less than 14 days to your travel date and make them understand you are a student and don't need a return ticket. Hope this helps someone 16 Likes |
