Despite the fact that I'm a yoruba, i see Osinbajo as a weakling instead of a pastor. The position he holds currently does not require diplomacy. Nnamdi Kanu has clearly violated the bail conditions given by the courts yet the bastard is Still roaming free. Why on earth will such a renegade be allowed to roam free in the south east filled with gullible frustrated youths who are ready to become another Bokoharam This is why i love Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu would have remained in prison If baba was around. Buhari doesn't care about court orders and that's the way to deal with non entities like Kanu. Biafra is treason, biafra is dead and buried in 1970. One Nigeria we shall remain sad

History is different from future, another history can be created.

Fg are deaf to the agitation of biafrans now that matters have not turn to case.

The biafra agitation is a clear understanding that Nigerians re not properly represented. (zoo country).

Unfortunately you are the one not being wise here. Osibanjo is wise by ignoring Nnamdi Kanu. Any arrest of him will further boost their popularity and attract more sympathy.

It will even create a chaos situation around the east, the next thing you will hear is that the Yorubas created a chaos situation in Igbo land and this will further destroy the unity of the southern Nigeria which some of us are working to achieve. Nobody will remember that Osibanjo did what he did as the President and not as a Yoruba man.
The north will not even shield him since they are not happy that he is occupying the position of their brother. They will rather watch the south fight themselves and have Osibanjo's govt destabilised.
Be wise.
If Kanu will be re-arrested let it be done by Buhari, a northerner. Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB members are touts, let's not allow them destroy whatever is left of the southern unity.

Meanwhile i am an Igbo man. Ipob miscreants take note before u say afonja.

Were you expecting Osinbajo to order Kanu''s arrest for floating bail conditions?

Nah, he won't do so. That's purely the Police and Minister of Justice duty.

Osinbajo believes in dialogue while Buhari is the opposite.

It's a law of nature to have an opposite of something. But one thing is a must, everything on earth ends in 6 feet no matter our position, fame and wealth on earth.

Why will he contest and win when majority of Igbos don't want to remain in Nigeria? Bro, it is a clear fact that the Political apathy among the Igbos rises from the fact that the Igbos do not believe in the Nigeria system or dreams. The Easterners are the most socially and politically conscious set of people in Nigeria. If you are four sighted you will know that no youth both from the major and minor ethnic group has been able to stand against their political leaders like the Easterners. Do you know why I hate Nigeria so much? Nigerians are so tribalistic. Tribal sentiments blind even the most educated of them. Nigerians hate the truth and so much avoid it just like they will avoid this one bitter questions--- Are Nigerians united? Deep down within every soul in this country we know that we aren't united. Imagine a president of a country regarding other parts as 5%. If you know how bad that statement is, you will realize that we don't really deserve to be together. We hate each other. But why are we still hanging on this country? An average Igboman hates slavery and subjugation, they are freedom loving people.

I heard some saying that Igbos aren't united. Can any tribe in Nigeria organize its youths under one umbrella like this? The last time I checked I discovered that the Nnamdi Kanu is not even from Anambra State yet he commands respect over there. Yet you say Igbos can not speak with one voice? Just for the fact that two politicians from the East are fighting each other for selfish reasons shouldn't make you to draw conclusion that the Igbos aren't united. Politicians are same everywhere. I can mention ten Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani Politicians that are antagonistic to their tribes men.

If only we can remove state of origin in our constitution and put state of residence. If only we can enshrine meritocracy and displace federal character or favoritism. If only we can kill the idea of indigenship or host and stop seeing others as foreigners for all to live as one. But we all know that these are so impossible in Nigeria. Then, since we can't take each other as one why must we stay together?

Very parralel comparisons

Nnamdi KANU just drummed the consciousness about Biafra,
He has spoken out what the people always murmured.
This is not a political strategy

Biafra is a people's history,
Biafra is a people's future,

Every Igbo man's family tree was altered in the civil war of 1967-70.
The present over-marginalization by this administration and the terror from the Fulani herdsmen has made the people truly realize and ask the always imminent question;

"Why are we slaves when we can rule ourselves?"

Biafra was always going to come to the centre point of this country's discussion.
It actually has nothing to do with the present administration.
Igbo's don't want restructuring, this is no political strategy; but a moment of self-realization

Drive through the south east.
Every town from Nkwerre to Obollo-Afor, from Osisioma to Nkalagu,
From Ihiala to Irette
Has the Biafran flag adorning their electric poles.
The Biafran flag can be seen on people's houses,
On the tricycles,
In their cars
As wallpaper on their phones
[s]Where else have you seen a Nigerian flag outside Government offices and banks?[/s]

This is the reality,
The people know their identity,
Biafra is their identity.

The people want a referendum,
Not an election or a bloody restructuring agenda by some power-hungry, bribery-prone disillusioned politician.

A referendum will be reached eventually
And then, the people will speak for themselves since their politicians have lost their voice.
You b fool. I hope you are ready to lay your blood down and even die for the cause.

well, i think the igbo people played the politics wrong against the north in the last general election. No single state in the southeast and ss voted for buhari whereas they could have formed a coalition with the southwesterners who tipped the balance during the last general election that defeated their man (jonathan). If jonathan had won, they wouldnt act like this even wen the man they voted for did nothing for their region for 6years and you want buhari whom u bitterly campaigned against to call them majority? From the comments on this thread,it seems that Yorubas not Northerners are the people mostly disturbed about this Biafran issues. Isn't that the highest form of mystery and witchcraft?
Up till today, i still don't understand why Nigerians especially Yorubas are bitter about Biafran's struggle for self determination.
You all wallow in cowardice yet make belligerent comments about people who have decided to change their destiny in this social contraption.

I've thought it over. I don't think federalism will save the country. What will save Nigeria is a formation of an identity. A new identity. Where everyone is a Nigerian and not Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. Where the people are homogeneous in culture and spirituality. You can never live in peace with this proportion of Christians and Muslims in one place. It's impossible. You'd have to collapse both for Nigeria to work. You'd have to collapse our cultures that are antagonistic.
Create an identity.

But is it worth it? Why should we collapse our cultures, languages, traditions and spirituality to forge a nation if we can independently exist and coexist as peaceful neighbours? Is it worth it? Federalism, or as they say, restructuring(of structures) will only affect us economically and have no material effect on our immaterial mind where peace is built. Let's see. But I've not seen these two religions coexist peacefully in one country. It's either one is 80 and the other 20. 50/50 or 45/55 can never be peaceful. It's impossible. I hope I'm wrong.

We have yoruba muslims and yoruba christians and they live well without any rancor.. One of the key problems with Nigeria is high level of illiteracy in the North, the divide and rule tactics of our leaders.... I honestly believe there is strength in diversity. As i am typing this reply i noticed that all my fingers are not equal, there is the the longer, shorter, medium, fatter, thinner, weaker fingers but with good coordination they allow me to type faster than if i decide to only use one finger.... Lets not underestimate the power in diversity. We need to have a platform for corrupt free elections, we need to fight corruption and not the mere lip service witnessed in the media, need for visionary leaders who can properly coordinate the affairs of this nation and watch Nigeria take its rightful place as an economic/political giant in the world.
