I only snapshot my result and sent to them, the lady called me and asked me some questions, then sent me a mail , telling me to inform them whenever am ready to take the 50 questions pre nursing assessment. I have not sent a reply because I need to concentrate to face that, I have ielts general exam next week which I want to use for Canada immigration. I don't want to put my head in one basket. Although I will also start the CGFNS CES report processes immediately and then start reading for NCLEX.
spicyritie:
please how long did you wait before you got a reply after sending your ielts report form? They requested for my ielts report form which I sent about a month ago but I'm yet to get a reply from them. Thank you

Yes I have done change of name and paper publications, Ihave not effect name change with NMC. But is it really necessary to effect with NMC?
IYIMAN:

Since you're married, I will suggest you use your current name, there's always space for maiden name in any official form.... Hope you've done official change of name with paper publication too. Try to effect name change with NMC too.

you can pay for express service at nursing council, tell them to use a courier service to send yours so that it will be faster then get a contact there that can monitor the progress to prevent unnecessary delays

Was the response immediate after she received the snapshot? Or how many days or weeks did it take?

A year and 7 months. First application expired due to transcript issues

In the country section, select Nigeria then hit search. A code should appear. Do not input anything again. Go down to the section that deals with the board of nursing you want to register with. That's all for this page.
Meanwhile, when are hoping to test? I suggest you hold off registering with Pearson Vue if you are not ready to take the exam within the next 3 months. Wait for the BON to give you the go-ahead. Once you are done with the BON and pay to Pearson Vue, you will get the ATT within 2 weeks or less. ATT is usually valid for 90 days.

You should expect Approval/eligibility from your board of Nursing soon. They will tell you the next thing. All things been equal, if you get approved, you can register for nclex with Pearson and inform the board, so you can get ATT. Your ATT is only valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Be ready to travel for the exam within the 90 days.. If you will need a visa, I will suggest you get it first before you proceed.

If you are applying for the UK, you should register for the UKVI, that's the only accepted ielts version for their immigration, once you have that UKVI number, subsequent exams can be the normal ielts, thats if you don't make it at once, and for IELTS writing the major tip there is #paraphrasing the question in the first paragraph, #giving at least 2 examples to back up your stand stated in the 1st paragraph too #then explain each example in the 2nd and 3rd paragraph respectively, and on each fact focus your write up on a personal experience,(give them one or two stories for each fact) don't give em google facts, it is even stated in the question, #good vocabs, #then your spellings #Then the conclusion.......done IELTS 3 times had 8 and 7.5 in #writing on the 3 occasions, and that was basically what I did......na for #Reading Dem dey always knack me 6.5, lol Yeye pipu

this is really helpful! Funny thing is I had 8.5 in reading and 6.5 in writing which was my lowest band and I was so pissed cos I needed a 7 in that band(for Ireland) and 6.5 in reading and listening which I got 8.5 each, I never applied this principle! Now that I'm looking at the US, I don't have to write a second time but it's really good to know what I did wrong and in case of necessity since some of my friends are yet to take the test. Thanks for this.

Sir, do they pay for the ielts, visascreen, EB3 visas for the family, nclex exams and all the nclex protocols involved, BON registration.etc? I am asking especially for avant and Shearwater.

How much do i need to process other things like cert verification, licence verification and submission of documents?. I.e., a rough estimate of the cost and time.

Avant pays for the NCLEX-RN registration process, EB-3 visas for you and your family (however, you pay the application fee of $345 per member of your family while they pay attorney fees), visascreen (only if you sign a contract during the promo period).
From the Shearwater contract I saw, they pay for everything (I'm not sure if they pay for family). Shearwater just started making inroads into the Nigerian market. I assume they will come with incentives to attract clients. Time will tell how consistent they will be.
I can't give an estimate on how how much it costs for the verification process because it depends on factors like how many schools you attended, the number of licenses you are validating, the nature of your school (some like money pass others and the speed of response varies).
For example, my wife's verification was done in less than 4 months (from the date I applied to CGFNS to the day the CES report was issued) and it did not cost more than 60k to get the whole process done, excluding the the fee for CES. I also know people that have been on the process for over a year and have sent just 1 transcript more than 5 times (may it not be your portion). You cannot quantify the material and emotional cost involved in the latter example.
I hope with this few points of mine, I have not left you more confused. I wish you success in your pursuits.
