WATER TAKES FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY OFFICE PORT HARCOURT. Coming back from church Living Faith Church, Kaduna St. D/line I saw this. This is FRSC head office in Port Harcourt by CFC Bridge. Rivers state government should spring into action immediately before people will be rendered homeless by flooding. 1 Like

Chei!! I pity those whose cars were impounded by the FRSC and will come back to claim flooded cars I hope this year's rains won't lead to 2012 type of flooding o? That'll be disastrous!! 1 Like |

That building is right beside a canal which may have not be cleaned out in a long time. The big canal in UNIPORT was recently cleaned out so flooding in that area will be minimal. 2 Likes |

Amaech constructed roads with good drainage systems while wike came constructing roads without any good drainage systems. Wike has never maintained or cleaned up any of this drainage systems construcred by Amaechi. Until Rivers people learn to put sentiment aside, nothing good will come out of the state. Wike is the Governor Wike alone is the commissioners Wike alone is the House of Assembly We have yearly budgets in Rivers state yet non have been sighted by any Rivers man or woman. Yet we call Wike a working Governor. For those who do not reside in Rivers state, take note that all the projects wike is commissioning today are projects 70% to 80% completed by Amaechi administration. Come 2019 i see wike been kicked out of the government house because all the militants and cultist he used have splited into various factions which wike will find it difficult to bring them together. 4 Likes |

The rain is not showing any sign of stopping soon, people should restrict their movement as much as they can. |

franchizy: Rubbish!! Stop this nonsense politics of falsehood. You are a bloody liar! Flood was much worse during Amaechi s tenure. Aba road which is the major road in PH was always flooded at st John and airforce /market junction areas. It was Wike who engaged Berger to fix this problem. You may dislike the governor but stop the lies. He is not doing badly, He is not called Mr Project for nothing. 3 Likes |

Re: Flood In Port Harcourt by HarryDuce(m): 1:27pm On Jul 23, 2017 |
otokx:Like they have intervened in Lagos? I'm just being realistic here though . We all know poor drainage, blocking of canals with debris and lacklustre attitude of the government are the causes of these floodings. note, its just rainfall. Not over flowing rivers or rising sea level. |
