mctowel01: bro , please can you put me through the process ? i don't mind parting with some cash as charge for your assistance. i work for the fred govt (NIGERIA) and i've suddenly realized that i have been running round circles for the past 4/5 years , hence my desire to migrate to Australia. i would really appreciate if you put me through the steps on this PR migration stuff. i'm already trying to process my transcript from my school and trying to get all necessary documents from my current place of work. i.e employment letter , tax etc. i look forward to hearing from u . like i said n I'M READY TO PART WITH SOME CASH IF YOU PUT ME THROUGH to the end. my contact number is on my signature (WHATSAPP) |

Rooneyboy:Bro I won't want to really go into explaining this stuff as its quite elaborate and procedures depend on individual circumstances. However, I can show you the way, where to get all information from https://www.nairaland.com/3053069/general-guide-australian-permanent-resident . Take your time to first read through the first two pages and ask questions |

What is the best thing to do if they are taking time verifying your documents. Bank letters... International passports Company registration and all. Is there a way to hasten the bank's confirmation? And all that. The thing tire me o. |

Hello house. A second opinion woud be well appreciated. Got my visa grant yest monday 24th July 2017 which apparently was my latest start date. I sent school an email yesterday for a further extention informing them of my arrival later this week as the delay was due from the embassy. They responded saying that i should not go ahead with my travel plans that the faculty is not accepting further late enrollments. As such, my recored has been automatically deffered to the nearest enrollement date which is oct/Nov and i was informed abt the issuance of a new coe in few days. I'm really divaststed and confused right now as to what next to do. Could i go to autralia now work before study commence in nov? 1 Like |

dotter8: You are not supposed work in Australia before classes resume , have you tried to beg them through their agents in Nigeria, if they still insist on November start date, relax at least you have the visa and extra 3 months to carefully plan what you going to do there. Please don't be devasted, I believe if you properly explain things, they might consider 3 Likes |

dotter8: Do you have to reapply for a new visa because of a new ECOE? If not, your story is better o. School says I am on my last deferral. It means reapplying after this time. My brother, I just dey laugh unto the Lord. |

dotter8:Bros, you for ask here before you tell Uni. Usually, what some folks did here was to resume anywhow, meet with school later on and end up doing like one English program with the University for about 6 months, as you must remain enrolled in your University, thus giving you more time to settle in adequately(but then it may be different package for ya school). Now that you have received a new instruction, Send an email to dibp, notifying them on the situation at hand and ask them to please advise on necessary steps for way Forward. In my own Understanding, they may just revise your approved visa by changing expiry date. 3 Likes |

Good day guys, my agent just called me up now that I will have to differ my admission till November. My question is that, if the visa grant comes out now, will DIBP issue me another updated visa to match with my ecoe or how will it correspond to it. Pls kindly advise. |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by JewelStone(f): 11:39pm On Jul 25, 2017 |
dotter8:It's a condition of your visa that you don't work until your studies start, but hey use your discretion. Going 3 months early is too much though, you may have problems in the immigration at entry point. I think 1-2 months is alright and you still have ample time to settle in and sort out your life before Uni starts. Doing an English program or any program you don't really need with your Uni just to while away time is a fantastic waste of time and money. And those programs don't come cheap. You can still notify DIBP of the changes but you don't have to cos your Uni will send your updated COE to them anyway. And DIBP won't revise your already issued visa, you'll have to apply for a new visa in Australia when the one you have expires. Goodluck, the real journey is about to start! 3 Likes |
