Can We Break Loose From Kwara? by toye440: 10:52am On Jul 25, 2017
I'm from Kwara state, from the Ekiti speaking part of kwara, collectively called the IGBOMINAS
I'm so confused for the fact that kwara state is counted as a Northern state (save me d afonja defeat, d Fulani's r still covering grounds), but her inhabitants r predominantly Yoruba's.
Recently, SW Governors converge to strategize on how to move the region forward, but to the chagrin of all kwara state was not represented. These I believe was due to d balkanization of d country from a working regional system into geopolitical zones.
My simple question is; should there b a referendum and we all voted to go our separate ways in lieu of regionalising d country, were do we d igbominas fall?
This is why I believe the earlier d better we d igbominas carve out our state from kwara, and free ourselves from d saraki dynasty.
pls IPOB NOT INVITED only Yoruba's are welcomed.

Kwara should at least have a representation in anything the south west governors are up to, that's the only way the kwarans get a sense of belonging. On the other hand kwarans need to free themselves from Saraki shackles. With a Saraki figure head ruling Kwara, its hard to sit on same table discussing the progress of Yoruba race with such, Saraki do not wish or mean good for Yoruba. So the advice is to break the dynasty shackles.

NB

The OP begs that IPOB stay away and then they flood this thread, I've never seen such uncivilised and unmannered tribe ever.

Yes my Bro, I agree with u 100%. cos I was able to follow the meeting held, and d governors all agreed dat SW was much better during d regional system, but with d agitation of many who no longer want to b in a union called Nigeria, and in d event wre dey succeed in seceding, I'm worried that kwara state might b annexed forcefully by d north, wch we know like others HV that natural hatred for Yoruba's.

I don't think they will be annexed, Yoruba dominated kwara population wise, although not in the top ruling class. A referendum could help in such or it may go into a winner takes all fight. Even in the event of a break up , Saraki and his followers may prefer a Yoruba side because they will always be a second class citizen among the north.

I also realized why the Igbo(s) like this one love to pokenose into yoruba affairs and when they are lashed they call it "attack".They feel insecured when yoruba feel indifferent (NOT AGAINST)to their cause.

Dont mind the perenial lost souls, what they fail to understand is that kwara is gone forever. Hausa/fulani will keep kwara and kogi just as they are doing now and also in the event of Nigeria's break up. Junaid Mohamed and other key northern figures have even said it several times in the past and nobody challenged them. They should forget about kwara and kogi because they are gone forever!

to hell with your omoluabi nonsense, I'm an Nwafor as well and you don't dare mud-sling my tribe into your weak a.s.s sh.iit, like I said go and brave the odds with the real owners of Kwara- the Norther fulani emirate, and stop boring us with your trash, the Fulani don't give 2 fu.ccks about social media noise, face them head on that you want out of Kwara and maybe they will be merciful enough to let y'all pack your trash and join your brothers in the South West, cause Kwara remains a fulani conquered territory and nothing will change that till eternity

Pls Yorubas on this thread, don't allow those outsiders to derail this thread. When they post their trash, just ignore them. Believe me, there is no better answer for a fool than consistent and persistent silence.

Í thing People of Kwara need to do Much of the work by themselves. Working through the Igbomina union is a good place to start. You can compel your union to reason in this line. But the question is this: does the op even associate with the Igbomina Union?

I had wanted to engage those Quislings, but then I clutched at wisdom and realise the miserable reprobates do not deserve my utterances, let the muturus continue whining but if u don't mind, the omoluabis HV something important to discus.
