i think the pple collecting the docs r acting on instructions passed on to dem by d panel.

It happened so fast so i cant tell u all that transpired in the room....the msc thesis was taken and returned back to u

i think they want to establish a valid relationship between ur msc n phd studies.

confirm from your school if you will need ATAS certificate, not all courses required ATAS.

They returned all docs except your proposal. It seems to me your PhD n masters thesis must go in-line, and also if you are lecturer, you have upper hand of getting the scholarship.

yup they held onto ur proposal....well if u r a lecturer with a weak proposal n u have someone dts in the industry oir even presently unemployed dat knows his stuff....i think its clear who will nick it.

yes oo, They didn't return my proposal. As I was leaving the executive sec. asked if I have secured admission. I pray I get the scholarship.
One guy's supervisor was among the panel, the guy said they like the topic, was very happy.

Those men fire my ass questions till I was confused as they see both topics similar phd n masters. Though, that is not to say one will gt it. It is just by mercy n favour. God dey!

Dear all. I just did mine today. I am in the environmental and Management Group. Alot of people were called and most of them did not show up. My advise, just go there and do ur interview.

My interview was quite tough but I am not discouraged for I will get the scholarship this year. They dwell mostly on what you tell them. Know ur research very well and be able to defend it. They will give u 2 minutes to talk before firing u questions. Like relevance of ur work, economics and feasibility of ur work in Nigeria.

Also another important point to note is ur knowledge about ptdf. Just go to their website (www.ptdf.gov.ng), study everything there. 1 question would come from there. Like mine, they asked where are their intervention sites in Nigeria that I know. Don't bother about current affairs, no current affairs question.

Don't be afraid, just go there with confidence and above all, trust God. There is nothing impossible with God.

I was not asked for my MSc. Thesis. Just my certificates.

from what i observed....the interview is actually partly a screening process....they seem to be selecting the final batch of candidates that they will consider inside.

When your guys are doing big, why arent you bigger? Dont use people you know nothing how they become big, bro. Don't ever use them compare yourself. PhD students are matured mind and they run their package marurely and hook up their ideas together.

You shouldn't be surprised to see PhD students here. A 20 year old kid can be admitted to PhD straight in the US after finishing college without MSc. And in Nigeria, increasingly many young people with MSc today are going for PhD cos they are no jobs. While it should be expected for them to act more maturedly, it's not a given.

Still, I agree with your comment about the guy comparing people fallaciously and trying to sway people subliminally towards divulging their competitive advantage.
