good points OP. but there are cases where the only choice you have is to drive on that flat tire until you get to a safer place to park.
Recently, I had a flat tire right under the Maryland tunnel around 5am. I suspected it was the handiwork of those bad guys. moreover I didn't think it was wise enough to have parked immediately in such place at that time.
I had to sacrifice my tire that day as I drove it like that until I got to Anthony where I parked and changed it.
I rather damage the tire that moment than take the risk of parking right there.

op I will never forget the day I went somewhere very early because it was urgent,I did not want my dad to know so that he wont ask the driver to take me there or his escort either although he travelled but he still monitor me,still I had everything well planned,to cut d story short I took one of the car without checking anything beside the car is new.

while rushing back I entered one small pot hole like that and d tire boosted,I did not stop at all,I condemned the tire to an open and busy environment where I was able to get help with the extra tire.

I can't afford to risk my life with all the warning and protection my dad gives to me.

the rest is history with my dad getting to know about it later.
